@Bones Hmm, I must investigate next time I'm back!

Guys I've known that worked in the factory making them strongly warned against eating them, but I couldn't care less.

    Mangrove Jack's American IPA.

Bit disappointing. No real punch, slight after-taste and a bit bland.

Disappointing to hear. I really liked the one we did. Maybe our palettes are different or maybe it was a bad brew ? ( doubtful, you seem to know your stuff )

I'll leave it another couple of weeks and see how it tastes. I have a Munton's American IPA brewing so will be interesting to compare.

Did you add any additional hops ?

Only what was in the kit. Not that knowledgeable yet!

We always buy extra hops recommended by our brew guru. They usually make it better although a couple of cases of far too much bitterness. My brew book is at home so will consult and let you know what we added to the American IPA

@nzzp Only movies that come close are the two Crank films. I think of them as kind of GTA adaptations.

I also say the highlight of whole trip may just of been I went to the Rugby School , the place where it all started. Women in the shop there took me over to their museum and gave me a bit of tour as she seemed to think I was a rugby nutter. Also got a pic of me on their field, a big nono generally, as you not meant to even be in school grounds if not a pupil etc, she just said tell security man I said it ok. You can't even just go in and watch a game of rugby there when they playing, as it for the school only!

@Machpants It was low enough that the planes weren't visible on the horizon behind what would be a 2-story level building next to my house.

I really enjoyed S1 but felt a little let down by the ending. I can't remember why now though <shrug>. Also I felt that while it got more intricate during the series it became a little less punchier?

    Will check out S2 though.

I have a Rega Planar 2 which is excellent. First brought to market in the early 70s and still being made. Low tech so super robust but with really good mechanics. The sound quality is very good Caveat: depending on your amp and speakers of course.

Cost in the UK is about £350 (bought one for Ms Cato’s birthday just over a year ago). There is a Planar 3 available but that is a bit more techy and close to twice the price.

Stylish to look at too. V understated.

Mossad - The Greatest Missions of the Israeli Secret Service

Decent enough read, several of the missions detailed are well known, with a some having been made into movies.

Mossad always seem to play by thier own rules and to hell with any fallout.
