This is such ignorant bullshit. The 2 playmakers pattern has not Mounga and Barrett playing behind the line as dual fullbacks, they're not hiding Richie. It was exactly the same when jordie played 10. We're they hiding him too?

From Paris 2004 to Cardiff 2007 the team was impeccable and had two tinny single digit losses in the republic (Rustenburg FFS) and our traditional loss in Australia in a RWC year. There was a pretty good argument that Cardiff was an aberration.

Ted was reappointed with Smith and Hansen on board and went up against Deans who could only find Pat Lam willing to work with him. Better coaches than Deans with better assistants than Lam will be apply for this job.

Oh and by the way, this post 2015 team just isn't a patch on the previous side stacked with all-time greats. No-one could have done any better with the cattle available. Losing convincingly to a very good England side shouldn't be a major surprise to anyone given the patchy form shown throughout the 2016-19 era and the lesser standard of players available in general.
Given that we lost the best ever centre pairing, the GOAT, and two other all time greats after 2015, the level of expectation in terms of dominance was unfounded. I think it is time for a complete change now in AB management, but I will always rate Hansen - He's still one of the classiest people around in the way he thinks about the good of the game at a world level and also the way he has represented the ABs during some very major disruptive events.

He responds to the next question by talking about 'how desperate the other team was' but clearly we weren't very desperate; we clearly didn't have a plan to break them down; and we were easily the 2nd best team out there. WTF?

Lets face it, win or lose, this was the end of one of the greatest AB eras. I've got a lot of good memories of the Henry-Hansen era, and some of the finest games played by AB sides with some of the greatest ABs.
I'm not sure we'll ever see its like again.

To add to this, he talks about how proud he is because we played well. Really??? Really????? Really??????? That's his honest assessment? I understand that he's proud of the players, but he can't be proud of that performance, surely?

What I find funny about that is that he had just said 'put your big boy pants on'. So do that. Own up to the fact that your team just wasn't fucking good enough. It doesn't mean that we don't love them (especially Sam Cane! Gave away three, but I still love you) but it does mean that you're honest about a shit performance. It can't only be that England were simply always better, or we should fucking give up.

Hopefully there is clarity soon enough for Rennie to have a go too.
I don't think Rennie is in the mix the Rumour is he's virtually signed for the Wallabies.

Nigel Yelden said this week that Joseph's negotiations for a Japanese contract extension have stalled, so he could be in the mix for the Australian coaching team. He also said that Joseph is a good negotiator, and he may just be playing for a better Japanese contract.

Hopefully he has an out clause. If he's in a TWM of him, Jospeh and Razor (with Brown as technical advisor) then we have an Islander fulla, a Maori fulla, and a Pakeha fulla ... a perfectly balanced coaching trio.
