How big is the difference between the normal halves and the replacements? Farking absolutely enormous. Ferraris vs Ladas.

Does anyone have an update on Christie's injury status? Booth was pretty shite I thought.
He looked a bit ordinary so hopefully Christie is back soon. Who I think looks the goods although some don't rate him
So far our best locking combination is Lousi and Fifita but keen to see Lousi and Walker Leawere together at some point. They were outstanding together re Canterbury before WL had his operation
Henwood looks a bit lightweight at this level against the big boys like the Sharks so hope Savea is back soon. And Thomson is a great impact 8. Another one I hope to see more of off the bench is Fidow.

@rancid-schnitzel Not so much difference at the Blues or Chiefs, but at the Canes, Saders (10 only) and Landers there's quite a bit of difference.

That was such a quintessential West performance. No direction, no control, poor kicking game, but a couple of highlight reel moments. Which is why he's fine as an impact player off the bench, but should never start. If Beauden is out again then Jordie should move to 10 as he did against the Lions.
Some credit to the Canes at the end there, didn't panic and some good decisions to keep taking the 3s to stay within striking distance. Then that final surge upfield to score was clinical as fuck, would have made tough viewing for Sharks fans.
A wins a win, hopefully we take some lessons on board from that. Similar to the Bulls match we didn't play well overall but this time we got the chocolates.
The game highlighted how important TJP and Beauden are more than anything.

@no-quarter Hamish Bidwell posted on twitter that BB is expected to be available next week, but TJ is in doubt.

Was Glen Jackson reffing in the last 10 minutes....

Only seen highlights but, how in the fuck does a professional broadcaster justify using a fucking nickname, "the beast", so often, for any player in his commentary.
Agree with @Higgins arrogance personified, away jerseys at a home game purely in a bid to maximise merchandise marketing to offset the inconvenience of hosting in a genuine fanbase. Make some noise on that please HB rugby folk
Sacrifice and fork out valuable money for tickets and shirts for the kids and their fucking team turns up in something else. Get fucked

Reading that, I was thinking it was a bit of a whinge until the last para. I can relate to that. Not the best decision on their behalf for future paying fans.

On a slightly different tangent. Bit scary to see a player like RdP in line for the bokke jersey. Kind of player that wins them games.
They are going to be the dark horses for the RWC. Lots of talent and by all reports Erasmus can coach. They are still weak at halfback and their wingers are not great but everywhere else they seem to have good youngsters coming through. I wouldn't be surprised if they win the series against the English 3-0.

Could someone with lots of time please list the current first fives and what their average hang time is from kick offs. Because fuk me he had some height last night, imagine what he gets at altitude.
Holy shit. Takes a really special person to ask a question like that.....

I agree. They are still generating very very good rugby players, the challenge is keeping them for long enough to build a team around. That said, seeing the way the Sharks plays makes me smile a bit. They are classic Bokke - massive units, who just crush people physically for 80 minutes. Great to see, hard to play against, but bloody good for rugby.
