Jacomb was poor the whole game I thought. I don't ever see him having a test career with his kicking unless he improves it dramatically.

Kerr Barlow is still better than Ratima and Hotham.

Frizell had a shocker. Sam Cane was anonymous.

Beehre and Sotutu both played well and matched the Bok physicality well.

I liked TKB. He was a tidy player for the ABs. Good to hear about the Blues players, I think Beehre has test potential in the near future.

I'm really trying hard to move on from thinking about Akira but it seems pretty clear to me now that boy did the Blues miss him. And when people go oh we need a 6 with impact, physical presence, height in the lineout, it is very tempting to scream aarrghh!

    I didn’t watch as am o/s.

But I see the Force had more possession and territory, had more carries, had to make less tackles and also missed less tackles, conceded less penalties, but got whacked by 47 points.

    Yikes

Clearest example for me of the disparity between the class of the two teams. One took nearly every opportunity on offer and the other couldn't.

This is Week 12 despite the graphic.

I went to the HOB-Tech game as I was interested to see Tepaea Cook-Savage playing 1st 5 for the latter. A heavy ground and intermittent rain didn't help but he was tidy and generally kicked well. Not afraid of contact either.

    RR completed, MN remain unbeaten.

They face Old Boys Marist in semi 1, who they beat 52-0 last week.

The Western Sharks hosting Moerewa United Kawakawa in the other has potential to be a cracker of a match, 2 good sides, and the Sharks winning by 3 in thier RR match up.

Can't see MN not making the final, and if I were to put money down, I'd say they will face the Sharks, who were losing finalists last year after upsetting MN in the semi.

Not sure the games played, wins etc stack up, especially with 1 side playing more games...Sharks points don't seem to tally either, 8 wins, even 3 losing double.BP games and 5 for a.bye doesn't add up...

OK, I’ve watched ep1 of DeptQ and whilst I’ve not found it completely gripping, it is very watchable. The one thing that grips me is the totally dysfunctional police force. There’s no one in uniform and they are all weirdos. The whole station is just… unworkable.

Will persevere though as I’m looking for entertainment, not realism.

    Up to Episode 8.

Brilliant watch Bit horrific in places and totally unreal but fun, quirky, gritty and great characters. Akram deserves a series of his own.

EDIT: Akram is the King of Cool.

Probably wont get his own series, but at least he'll have as prominent a role in any upcoming series.

Mathew Good did a good impersonation of David Tennant.

Also beside the point a bit, but I enjoyed commentary on TV. I think Cruden and Hall both made good jobs of being the comments men!

Fastest RB driver. Great opportunity to get in the points if he can race clean

Gone a bit nuts with this one, watched all the promos, press conference and the weigh-ins. Don't know if I'm just becoming a boomer but the weigh-in show with Sanko, Cormier amd Bisping was hilarious. Bisping unfiltered/drunk is something else.
