Boulder dash. Cats are too smart to do any of that shit. They don't see the point. Dogs are retarded. That's why they'll endlessly run after a stick, or remain loyal even if they're totally neglected. With cats you have to win their respect. Dogs are too stupid to realise they have an option. And you have to wash the grotty bastards. -

Yup, if I stood on my cats tail by accident, hours later she would come up to me pretending to want affection by rubbing up against my legs, the second I put my hand down she'd tear it to pieces then sprint off down the hallway to hide under the bed where I couldn't get at her. She used to terrorise my mates with that sort of stuff as well. Crazy, but smart. -

Well Dogs are pretty much obsessed with food so reward based training is pretty easy with them. Cats are more obsessed with lying in the sun or playing with mice which they can do at their own leisure. If you try reward based training with a cat it will just look at you as if you are an idiot. -

<p>in the country dogs run free - they know where they are allowed to go, and what they are allowed to do. cats won't learn that. dogs being larger and stronger and potentially more dangerous is the reason for being more careful with them, not brain power.</p>
<p>i reckon if you tried to train a cat with rewards - and starvation as the other option - it still wouldn't learn.</p>
