NSW Bans Greyhound Racing

Any industry will engage in some dodgy shit if it can get away with it. Perhaps the NSW govt should have gone in harder with root and branch reform rather than a blanket ban. I know nothing about greyhound racing, but does the sport itself fit the definition of animal cruelty. -

<p>The sport itself? Certainly not. Greyhounds were bred to chase small things and run fast. Saying greyhound racing is cruel would be like saying it's cruel to make a border collie herd sheep.</p>

I realise that and obviously that has to be fixed. But if the sport itself is sound they why ban it? It's not like it's cockfighting or dog fighting. <br><br>

Boulder dash. Cats are too smart to do any of that shit. They don't see the point. Dogs are retarded. That's why they'll endlessly run after a stick, or remain loyal even if they're totally neglected. With cats you have to win their respect. Dogs are too stupid to realise they have an option.
