That cripple fight meme from earlier in the thread was accurate. Fair result imo, with some good rugby and some shocking rugby by both sides.

Hansen would have to be mad to include DMac in his WC squad. That last grubber kick was one of the dumbest things I have seen on a rugby field.

    @akan004

When he avoids that shit, I think he’s he’s an absolute game breaker at 15. And he kicks goals. And he’s a second playmaker.

    But.

    That shit.

Worse than Jordies kick out on the full only minutes earlier, both pretty stupid plays by All Blacks.

That's my assessment as well. A cripple fight albeit with some impressive able-bodied stuff occasionally thrown in.

As good as Tiatia was, he was the guy who gifted the Chiefs 7 points at the start of the game.

He wasn't exactly left with too many options by that amazing Barrett pass....but it's Beauds eh?

Cmon Bones he still had ample time. Pass was shit, but can't blame pass for that kick. Retarded logic

I can blame the pass quite easily, in equal parts with the kick - it gave ALB oodles of time to get onto Tiatia's left boot. But yep, shit kick.

Boulderdash. He didn't even need to kick.

Course not, he could've passed the ball to no-one instead.

Complete nonsense. I just watched it again. He could easily have passed or run it and he still had enough time to kick.

    Definitely his fault.

Beauden's leadership was piss poor tonight. His decision making when we had the Chiefs under the pump on numerous occasions was rookie level. How many times has he kicked the ball away in the red zone over the last two years when we have been hot on attack? I've honestly lost count. He just looks disinterested.

    Defs a cripple fight tonight.

That kick that I presume was for Jordie was pitiful. Cringeworthy.

Who was the prick who knocked on a metre out right near the end? That was shocking.

@Rancid-Schnitzel I know! A real frustration is that the guy with the most destructive power on the bench is stuck behind arguably our greatest hooker. Raw as anything but he adds some sting for sure. God I wish he was a prop!

Bidwell-curtis may get a start next week, maybe with our SA recruit. Vaea goes better at 6 too.

Stoked with how the Chiefs played tonight. Jerseys looked great. ALB was huge. Manu proved his worth. Good hustle from the forwards finally. Laumape disappeared. Canes knockes countless balls on. Rats that it wasn't a Chiefs win but happy with the game.

As a Chiefs supporter I was quite disappointed with the seemingly planned substitutions. The impact of Luke Jacobsen begs the question as to why he was not on sooner. And, I felt they paid the price for taking Webber off at a critical time again, losing the threats he poses.

Why can't Chiefs scouts secure talent like others do? Tiatia, Kirifi and Toby Smith all had good impact.

His little cameo was impressive! But yeah, pity he's unlikely to get much time with Coles looking really good.

    Like the look of Bidwell-C.
