All Blacks vs England I

That was a tough test match with a very good English team.
I think they have the right players, and looked like they could break the game open in first half. But, got taught a good lesson in territory management and pressure. This was the teams first run and they will get better. Biggest issue is creating space in midfield. Reiko is not a crash centre.
Scott Barrett picked up from where he was last year - great work rate, low, body position, shifting players. Best player but thought Jordie, Patrick and Sevu also good.
Love Ref’s call on DM another taking penalty quickly enough. He was milking it.

@Victor-Meldrew if Dmac had nailed his we would have won by more

England are a GOOD TEAMI think you are right. And they seem almost likeable!

On the positive I enjoyed the game and really looking forward to next week. I am confident the coaches will grow over the season and adapt as they go.
Proof will be the two match tour in SA. That's judgement right there

Christie was fine, he just (same as TJ) needs to act rather than fuck about. Bullet pass Smith is missed, but more that fact he rarely wasted time at the ruck. Just play and don't wait
Christie gets better the longer the game has run. He did well today I though against some pretty decent England forwards.

@chucknz waaaaa
Robertson is inexperienced at international level and it showed. They had a shit game plan and wer almost beaten.
You do want razor to fail, to prove he should've picked Sotutu and Akira tho, admit it - let it out, you'll feel better

Tbf the Blues back row would have been an improvement on tonight for me.

Had we played Tonga and won by 70 we would be none the wiser.
We tonked world No.1, Ireland in the 1st Test in 2022 and no one complained. Worked out well...
Oh yeah I remember that test match because that’s the one where we had Whitelock, Retallick, Aaron Smith, Sam Cane playing. Handy bit of experience to call upon….

You have to wonder if people are suffering from collective amnesia. I'm 45 and the ABs have generally served up shite in the 1st test in every one of those years.
No need to panic just yet. -

Yeah, it wasn't great. Finau was a no show, and Ardie was still in Japan mode. Paps not exactly shining either

England should start Baby Face Nelson (ranga prop), Spencer and Finn Smith next week

England are a GOOD TEAMDon't think people are being negative about England but focussing on individual players and one sides tactics.

Yuck, didn't see anything encouraging in that performance.
First time out so hard to see anything new I guess
