IMO playing for another team, being able to be with your wife, and simply moving cities to be be where you want to be isn't worth a boo
The price is he's lost the support of the Canes fans. He was a Canes hero. Now that's gone for good. And unless his form returns (unlikely as he's been slipping back for years) he will never get it at the Blues
And if he had played for another year as an act of loyalty and then went overseas for a year and then returned to the Blues (and announced it in advance) then not such an issue.

We didn't boo Lomu when he left the Blues. Cane fans are just horrible human beings.
I don't remember Mils getting booed by Blues fans either, and he captained the Chiefs.
Mils had an issue with the Blues coaches. Lomu left fairly early in his career.
-
BB is being a bit precious I can understand totally why the Canes fans feel betrayed.
If BB make the decision to go to another franchise he has to deal with what comes with the decision.
Best way to deal with it play well and stick it back up the people who boo,
Not have a whine in the media it will make it worse. -

No Mils left because his woman was employed by Auckland rugby and she was caught defrauding them. Auckland declined to press charges but that left Mils in an awkward position. Thats when he left Auckland and the Blues (largely the same thing at the time)

Lomu played for CM. He moved from Blues to Chiefs when they were re-aligned in 99
Totally different scenario. And Mils was never really a jafa in the first place

Yeah, it should be us Chiefs fans booing him.

I'm intrigued, how much is a boo worth?
Beauden should get over himself. He ditched the franchise he was a hero to. Oh and it's only fucken booing, whoopdeedoo.

Beaudy joins canes 2011
Taranaki split to chiefs to avoid ever being part of winning a super rugby title 2013
So nah

What did everyone else make of the booing? Think this is a little bit sensative of Beauden. It came across as friendly fire from his old fans. Nothing more, nothing less.
No big brother likes being showed up by his little brother. Jordie and his gang were the one with the smiles at the end last week. I doubt Beaduen would have been bothered by the Boos if he'd won.

A reminder of where Julian Savea was at as a wing when he left:
https://thechaserugby.com/2018/02/22/super-rugby-2018-new-zealand-conference-preview/
The same metrics which mark out Braydon Ennor and Will Jordan as interesting prospects in the back three provide insight into the struggles of Julian Savea: he turned the ball over more frequently and offloaded less frequently than any other All Blacks outside back across 2016 and 2017. These figures did not improve markedly during the 2017 Mitre 10 Cup, as we can see from the graph above.
It is tempting to put these figures down to a deterioration of basic skills, but β as he showed in New Zealandβs season opening win against Samoa β his passing ability and alignment are still elite for an international winger. Evidence from NPC play and the 2018 Brisbane Tens tournament β where he appeared susceptible to knocking on when leading with the ball into contact β suggests that it may be a result of a decline from his power into the tackle, a defining feature of his game early in his career.
