I can C Cane playing in Japan this time next year
Considering he is signed until 2025, I find that highly improbable. He wants to play 100 tests, and will be 94 going into next year. I think as long as he displays solid form in Super Rugby, he will be allowed the chance to do that.
Ardie will be eased back in + there is no obvious no. 8 that will see him squeezed out of the picture, that he doesn't get there barring injury.
Surely Robertson will fill the loose forwards with Canterbury players like Cullen Grace and the immortal Ethan Blackadder. Cane might have no where to go.

Just looking at signs and trends and all that shit...and perhaps a healthy dose of reaching, but I don't think any side that has knocked England out of the RWC has ever won it. Let's hope that continues ๐

Could be a Foster first.

This whole thing is surreal
Perhaps Foz is the master of a parallel universe -

Odd odds
So they think we will win it in regulation time but if it goes to extra time/penalties it balances out?
They would need to actually be heavily favoured to win in ET/Pens to balance it out right?
As @Smudge said, probably looks like a mistake or a rort

Just poor algorithm on the thing that puts it together, I reckon, it is from 24 markets

If it is allowed to be played with extra breaks and 15 subs (SA head knock rotation policy) then I personally think the old foe gets up.
However if it is allowed to flow and the above policed then I think we have them, even in the wet, assuming we play like the last 2 games.
Apart from our exits we have turned a corner in other areas that were a worry.

Itโs going to be rainy in Paris all week.

I expect Cane to hang around for two years to attempt to play 100 tests
I hope so. Robertson is going to need to rebuild with so many older playing retiring and having the likes of Cane there gives a solid foundation to work from. And I don't think he's the sort of bloke who'd pack a sad if he wasn't captain.

Question for everyone.. has this been the best WC ever?

Quoted for truth.
If Rassies "HIA" (honest guv), water-boy deploying, injury faking, time-wasting stultifying cheats win, then no.

In terms of the quarters and semis, the likes of Fiji, Samoa, Japan etc becoming competitive, dickheaded-ness in players and coaches generally not coming off, then absolutely up there.
The reffing has been ordinary, though not the Refs fault (bar Carley, Wales v Fiji). Guidelines changes seemingly at random. UK TV coverage has been middling.
Maybe just me, but I've found this one just a bit flat for some reason.

I'll give you a definitive answer after the final. But I reckon in terms of match-ups, crowds and results it's up there.
One thing that is amazing is seeing a game like Fiji vs Portugal with a full stadium. I contrast that to the quarter and half empty Ballymore (capacity maybe 20k) where I watched games in 87. This tournament has come a very very long way.

If we want to look at the periphery I think the ABs sent a significant message which will not have been lost on Rassie & co, when they decided not to replace SB after his YC was up, and played out the game with 14 men keeping the scoresheet clean for the entire 2nd half. That's a statement.
