Is he getting paid 60K for this shit? I'm assuming it's a part-time gig...
$26.60 an hour. Not bad for a kid with no responsibilities. But fucking hell relax you dickheads!
If he checked the ID of the person buying the alcohol, and the minor was outside the store, then the customer will get the fine anyway for supplying.
That's IF anybody bothers to charge them i.e. the little underage shit gets busted by his parents IF his parents even care.
On top of all that, the mother in law (trapped n get Ian body with dementia) tested positive for Covid today.
Yay life
Those laws are insanely stupid.
My 70 yr old mother couldn’t buy a bottle of wine as my 38 year old wife was with her and didn’t have ID.
It literally prevents nothing.
I got ID'd in Exeter when buying a whole lot of shopping including booze, was with the gf at the time and my 14yo nephew. After she checked my ID she asked for my nephew's. I told her he's not buying it and if it's a problem he can go wait in the car. Weird, she just carried on after that - I think she was maybe thrown by the rozz being at the next checkout.
Just bizarre though, they'd have a whole world of problems if that's their rules come family shopping on a Sunday. Is your toddler 18?

And it gets more stupid - https://www.police.nsw.gov.au/crime/drugs_and_alcohol/alcohol/alcohol_pages/alcohol_and_young_people
Only a parent or guardian (or a person authorised by the parent or guardian) may supply alcohol to a minor at an unlicensed premises (including a family home), however the supply must be consistent with the responsible supervision of the minor.
So, for example, when my then-17yo son attended a friend's 21st last year, when dropping him off I informed the parents of the house that he was fine to have a couple of drinks. Perfectly acceptable.
Here are the conditions:
In relation to the responsible supervision of a minor the following matters are considered: the age of the minor whether the person supplying the alcohol is intoxicated whether the minor is consuming the liquor with food whether the minors consumption of liquor is being responsibly supervised by the person supplying the liquor the quantity of liquor and the period of time over which it is supplied The supply of alcohol to a child who is intoxicated is not, in any circumstance, consistent with the responsible supervision of a minor. Significant fines apply. A $1,100 on-the-spot penalty can be issued or the courts can impose fines of up to $11,000 and/or 12 months imprisonment.
Therefore, not only can I load up my trolley with as much piss as I want, I can tell everyone in the store that my underage daughter will be drinking a responsible quantity of it, and they can refuse me service under their guidelines, but not the Law.

Update in summary:
The Boy got over it eventually and has had shifts since, including a Saturday night. He has 9 shifts between now and Xmas and was complaining he was going to do 38 hours the week leading up. Yeah mate, and you'll earn just over $1000 doing that so fucking enjoy it. Chances are after Xmas they will cut back the load on all the casuals.
The Girl seems to have come good - no shock to the men here that once her period hit, things started to calm down a bit. Still a lesson in keeping an eye on things.
The Mother In Law aka The Dementor has spent a week in hospital for no visible change, bar I guess her Covid going away. She's being discharged back to the Nursing Home as of tomorrow but if the last two years have been the slow decline, this is the final bit i.e. not eating enough to sustain herself. I liken it to Jonathan Kaplan warning Richie McCaw over a yellow card - being the final Final FINAL warning where he may think about possibly reaching into his pocket to act.
And me? I put up the Xmas lights last week, and am just waiting for them to get annilihilated by a storm. I've got a Board meeting for Subbies Rugby tonight where I'll get re-elected again to represent my Division (unopposed) and my boss is heading off on leave Friday, which is one less person to hassle me for shit the next month.
So yeah, it's OK.

Tbf the name Oceania should have been a massive red flag from the very start.

From what I understand girls are waaaay more susceptible to this transgender shit. More and more I'm thinking I got a bit lucky with three boys, though I'm sure they'll find creative ways to get into trouble as they get older.

Girls are a doddle when they're younger whereas boys just want to put a bucket on their head and run into brick walls causing all sorts of mayhem. However. However. Once past a certain age this gets inverted and boys become mostly a breeze, whereas girls become angst ridden, needy, complaining little monsters.
If you're gonna hop on the trans bandwagon, have girls and then transition them to boys around the age of 10 for a simpler life.
On reflection this trans stuff is beginning to make sense now.

Guy at my mate's work has a wife.
Wife has decided to become a man.
A cock is being put on in a few weeks.
Weird thing is, he is still committed to her.
Fully supports it apparently. (love transcends physical boundaries or some shit)
I don't believe it.
Deep down, I bet he is thinking WTF -
I didn't think the stickadicktomy was a real thing

Deep down, I bet he is thinking WTFHad it the other way round and my kids school Mr Science Teacher came back after the summer break as Ms Science Teacher. The wife stood by him/her all through the change and the subsequent fall outs, of which there were many and even now they're still together. Travelling around together in a camper van for half the year would you believe?

Deep down, I bet he is thinking WTFI cannot imagine what it must be like to go through this. The guts it must take to raise the topic with your partner in the first place. How the hell do you even start such a conversation?
Then if you are the partner, the thought process you must go through as you come to terms with it. Your life is being turned upside down too.

I'd think that it isn't an overnight thing.
Any partner would know that there's something not quite gelling within them.
I remember ages ago when even coming out as gay was a big thing and a friend convinced his partner to come out, tell the wife and kids, and start a new life. The wife basically said 'thank god for that, I've been waiting for ages but knew you would eventually get there'.
If you stop thinking about the sex aspect of things then the rest isn't that mind boggling at all. No different to someone realising they are incompatible or happier doing something else etc. -

Not all people realise their partners are gay, let alone wanting to be the opposite sex.
