@Duluth No idea.
You can ask him on twitter or post a comment on his substack article?

The answer was in the substack article
In only 1 test since 2016 β the second Lions test in 2017, when they had to play 50 minutes with 14 men in the teeming Wellington rain β have the All Blacks been held to a lower rate of clean breaks

I know that everyone is climbing into Foster. The cracks were there at the World Cup. They need a rethink. We have to find a way to win the contact and that means different players.
Who?
Players need a vision a decent game plan and faith in the people coaching them to buy into the coaching philosophy I don't see that.
Pick 36 more players under Foster same outcome IMO.
Different issue though.
I don't see too many outside of those already in the squad standing out. The best players available (with one or two injury exceptions) are there.
There is none ,I think we have selected the best players. The issue is what you can achieve with them not much by the look of this coach.
A couple of extras out there like Big Red Robinson. Maybe Ta'avao. Havili... ok I'm reaching now ...

@booboo Ideally you have both size and athleticism. But if in doubt go for athleticism. I would start Sotutu at number eight as he ticks both boxes and looks more powerful than Ardie. Frizell is ok but we have lots of options at 6 with Akira, Grace, Robinson, Barrett. Locks and Props seem to be where we might be weak. I think BBBR was starting to fade before he went to Japan so he may not provide a solution. Barrett probably lacks a bit of size but would be a smaller more athletic lock.
The analysis during the week was interesting, suggesting that we carried too much and missed the gaps out wide. When we lost in the WC I remember thinking the rush defence had done a great job in removing those options. So whether we need to better with second man play, going wide quicker, altering our depth there will be some tactical solutions as well.
I suppose I was referring to the squad as a whole.
There's not much left on the right hand side of the Tassie who should be there.
My preferred first XV is likely to be similar to many others'.
Ioane to 6, Sotutu to 8, swap JG and ALB, start Clarke and Ioane on the wings, and just choose a specialist 10 and 15.
Funny though, I'd forgotten Grace. Hold out much hope for him.
When you start working out who is not being picked in the looses you realise how the selections are just wrong. (You can park your suggestion of Barrett at 6 though ... )
There is enough talent around. Again I go back to @gt12 's "Just pick" mantra.

@booboo Grace got 30 seconds in the loss to Aus I think...really useful.
Kinda my point.
I'd forgotten him, and it appears so had Fozzie

Has he been forgotten or just the combination of recovering from injuries and games not going quite how we would have liked have meant Grace/Akira/Papalii haven't got the time on the field we would have liked?
I'm not sure it is necessarily a bad thing for Grace/Papalii - I think another year of Super Rugby will help them really push for a starting AB place, Foster just needed to see if the Cane/Ardie/Frizell option would work.
For Akira, he is ready in 2020 - will be interesting to see if he gets a run in the final game as Matera and co will provide a very good measure of how he can play at International level.

Some interesting stats on that page. This one jumped out, we are twice as likely to get a yellow card compared to our opponent. Either our discipline sucks or refs hate us
Data is for last 5 years i.e. Since McCaw retired
It isn't that refs hate you as much as it is your subsequent captains have sucked
