Bledisloe Two: Auckland, October 18

Looks like Cane just loves playing Aus...
-
@taniwharugby that right hand side looks like he's been avoiding fibre...
-
what is interesting, is that the highest tackle counts by 1 player, 4/6 games were v Aus, so does that say they change thier tactic and run at our 7 all day or do we set up for that?

A lot of talk about about Beaudy's achilles - Beaudy mentioned today it dates back to last year pre-RWC - wonder if that is the reason for his drop in speed over the last 12 months or so?
Will Jordan on standby for the bench if Barrett doesn’t get through the rigours of the pre game.
-
It's all been said but absolutely baffled. The only place they've departed from their "plan" is to further fuck around in the midfield, with yet another untried option. Blaming Roane for the option taking is an absolute fucking cop out.
Aoane straight to starting 8 when Savea heads to the hospital.

wasn't Rush there to help with the transition of the culture away from the boozy boys club Mitchell and Deans had allowed to fester?
The guy who pissed in a bar in Auckland? Well, the other guy, as I think Mils did as well.

@chimoaus do we kick more v Aus?

Relax, guys. Our blokes' best chance is at Suncorp and then perhaps still having a shot in the dead rubber in Sydney.
ABs by two tries at Eden Park, cementing Foster in place for years to come.
Aussie venues the other way around. Sydders first 31/10, Brissie 7/11
Good point.

I could watch that all day...

The Giraffe selection is still baffling and the tight 5 looks inexperienced, though arguably stocks are pretty thin there right now. One thing's for sure, we need Pat T is have a big game.
On the plus side, Fozzie is sticking to his guns and not panicking. He's also put our 2 best midfielders on the sheet along with Caleb Clarke. (But I can't help wondering if the lack of panic is actually a rabbit searching for a headlight)
Only other plus is if the Fozzie-led TWM turn out to be utter crap, better we find out now in 2020 rather than 2022 or 2023.

Our lineout looks pretty vulnerable. A skinny rookie lock, no targets at 7 or 8, and an unproven six (is he any good as a target?).
Sotutu should be starting at 8, and would give an option.
Frizzel? Yeah, he goes fine.
Him and Parkinson were the Highlanders two main targets - Frizz was fourth in comp for lineouts won, Parkinson 2nd.
Highlanders had the most successful lineout in comp. -

Well I hope I'm right coz have shelled out several month's disposable income to go to the Brissy test

Does not compute....he's not panicking, he's just broken up the midfield after one go and dropped the guy that had the most impact, while blaming him for option taking. But "sticking to his guns" by playing them both out of position. Makes complete sense.

"I think we do have to cut Fozzie a little bit of slack, but only up until the Bledisloe goes west."
I've been cutting him some slack since he first joined the AB coaching team! I'm all out of fingernails!
