I think Argentina checked out once the card was issued. Worst game of the WC I have seen so far.
Its been a gradual lack of interest - they certainly haven't threatened much.
They've been the disappointment of the RWC for me. I thought they'd stich up France and give England a run.
Me too. There was an Argentinian fan on here for a while really talking them up, had me hoping they'd knock over England and/or France but they've been a real dud. Way worse than previous RWCs.
-
Argentina would do well just to try fuck up England a bit now for everyone else benefit.
-
The current system has a high chance of a player being sent off in the finals. Imagine if Scott Barrett or SBW incidents happened in a final. The punishment seems too great when the act is not purposefully malicious. It's not like an eye gouge or biting the opponents ear off.

Disappointed with Owens and his team there.
Argentinian shows poor technique in the tackle striking ball carrier's head - red card.
English player shows poor technique in the charge down striking the kicker's chin - penalty only.
That is what's going to drive people away from rugby.

@booboo Yes, I agree, Lavinini should pay the sanction. Hit him in the pocket. But not the people paying for it. Do you see the distinction?
I do. And think you're wrong.
Why should a thug have free reign on the field?
It's sport. As I have said sport is random.
Players make mistakes. And know there are consequences.
Way hey. Argies score. But still need 3 tries to win
-
What is it with these two sides kicking away possession?
This is awful by both sides.
-
Best try of the night.
That's how you create space England.

The clear tackle in the air as well. A couple of pretty obvious YCs not given as Owens wanted to give the most charitable interpretation possible.

@booboo Money is involved. Forget ‘doing the right thing’.
Sorry. Still confused.
