Oh and what's the go with this Sinckler cnut? Is he the tour tough guy? Twice last night he had his own players rush to pull him away from a scuffle, and now allegedly an incident in the tunnel involving him and surprise surprise, TJP, which started by Sinckler refusing to walk through the tunnel of players after the game

Perenara should suck it up and stop acting like a crying bitch

We lost and need to be humble about it

Seen plenty of yahooing and pats on the head from him when the Hurricanes win or get a call their way.

Oh and I'm interested to hear from the Savea knockers regarding Ioane. You know, the ones that always have a go at him for sticking out in the wing and/or not getting involved enough, because apparently if you're a winger it's really easy to make play go your way.

@SammyC yep, his arm flapping and all round behaviour reminds me of Peter Stringer who I thought was a cnut!

Sure. Workrate when the play does go his way would be nice.

We might well get to see him attempt it in the third test.

@Billy-Tell it wasn't necessarily foul play but it was a pin-point swinging arm to the temple. It's hard to judge intent but it certainly warranted further investigation.

There's a citing process. If you guys are all correct, then we will see more than SBW in front of the judiciary. If we don't, then maybe time to reconsider your stance?

If we're talking about the ref, Farrell was taken late, and the penalty in the first half for Vunipola apparently not supporting his body weight was an incredibly harsh call.

And I don't think Sinckler jumped into the tackle, he jumped to catch the ball, and Faumuina had pre-anticipated his tackle. It was a harsh enough penalty, but if the shoe had been on the other foot, I would have taken it.

I think Ayoub was trying to suggest red card to Garces for the Vunipola challenge, but the way they communicate is so oblique always require deciphering, especially the Frenchies for whom English is not their first language.

Intent doesn't come into it (to start with). You are expected to take care that your actions don't contact the head in a dangerous manner.
Swinging an arm in as an arriving tackle assist is lack of care.
IIRC the contact was on the jaw like a KO in fighting.

Yes I was certainly wishing we had Savea at that stage. Remember the RWC final when Smith got a yellow Savea was right in there looking for work.

Peter Stringer who I thought was a cnut!

... with a superb pass and an amazing knack of tap-tackling.

    This one

seems Yoda-like because Luger seemed way past him.

Going a bit deeper, he had a challenging time as a youngster with discussions about having growth hormone to make him bigger - long interview (1 hour)

On a lighter note, Ireland lock Mick Galway says when he was recalled to the side in 2000 (despite some selectors thinking he was too small for a lock) he stood between youngsters O'Gara and Stringer to make himself look bigger to the committee men in the stand!

But then, anyone looked big compared to Stringer -

    better than many others!

@Megweya for me, epitomised how whiny the IRish players were at the time, really disliked Ireland at the time, regardless how good of a player he was.

yeah I thought to my self during the game , that julian may have been handy here , coming in during the pick and drives helping out the forwards being a man down,

they went for Reiko because at this point in time he has more form and ability to beat a man and find space out on the flanks ,

    Hindsight is a wonderful thing

haha, and I expect we will have some quality rants during the week too.

SBW rightfully copping shit, but geez some of the hate toward the guy is pathetic, I expect the decision to play him next week will be taken away from our selectors by the judiciary, and I hope the same fate for Vunipola.

The Vunipola "late charge" - nothing in it, but if I was to cover one eye, I'd ponder whether there was intent without damage.
The Vunipola cleanout - dodgy, and reckless at best. Coming so soon after the late charge... I can imagine a post in the conspiracy thread about it.
(Along the lines of... after the "late charge" - was that a hollywood by Barrett? And if so - was it because Vunipola said something as he failed to take him out? Targetted.)
