Maybe I am just sick of the negative shit now.Mine included.things happen out here in the real world like terminal illness we all have to deal with maybe I just want to be positive from now on.

    @LatsToTheMax
I have often thought Clarke could go well in midfield - size and good feet.
Maybe worth an experiment in super rugby to see what hands and vision are like

Well I think moving forward the backline is pretty obvious...

    10 Garden-Bachop
    11 Umaga-Jensen
    12 Higgins

Clarke is not the droid you’re looking for

Further out, Sititi at 8 and Lakai at 7 gives plenty of ball running power and then perhaps Suafoa or some other big munter at 6.

He's only just starting to play rest rugby well at wing! You could see Nonu had something early on, I don't see that with Clarke. If he can be a very good winger I'll be satisfied

Also the Argentina loss. 3 losses in 4 matches is well below expectations

I agree it is but some of the BS on these threads is over the top.
SA are the best side in the World ATM.
We have to admit that and build a new team for the WC .
The loss to Argentina was more shit than the 2 loses to SA in SA.

Am I recalling wrong or did you not defend Foster like this?

What the fuck is up with the kicking?

We know we have good kickers in the side, we've seen them do it.

Why is DMac taking a shot at goal from 60 when his range is 40? Why do we make so little ground when kicking for touch?

It has. Like, I back every coach we have and I think things will improve once the selectors figure out what they want and who their best side is going forward, but the public and media Came down on Fozzie like a ton of bricks at any opportunity, yet every excuse under the sun is made for Razor and his team.

This will be a great season for bringing Razor down a peg or 2 as well. Enough of these stupid 3 part docos on how great he is, parading around like a drunk idiot at the annual black clash, having everyone telling him how wonderful he is, picking and choosing what rep teams he wants to coach, hiding in SR when in all honesty, he outgrew the comp after about 3-4 seasons and I personally would have liked to have seen him take up another challenge before considering the ABs gig, his answer of 'I don't need to learn overseas, I already did my time over there as a player' something along those lines was of a concern to me, suggested he was too good for that sort of challenge etc. etc. He's also being a bit of a smart arse with his answers now that things aren't all going his way. He's only used to having everything in his favour and asked easy positive questions by the media.

I believe he'll get there eventually and deserves year 2 at least to find the right team and style, but I also think he was a bit smug and thought it would be a lot easier than it has been despite the warnings from Jeff Wilson and the 1% of the public that didn't grease up to him.

But the experienced heads are letting him down. Barrett kicking the ball away week in week out, McKenzie missing kicks. The captain dropping a pass cold today while hot on attack. Two completely avoidable yellow cards today.

This isn’t aimed at you in particular but it’s a prime example so don’t take this the wrong way.

I don’t think I ever saw these kind of excuses for Foster and poor performances. It’s funny how things change when it suits someone’s narrative lol

Regarding the media stuff, it’ll be interesting to see how he copes with the English & Irish rugby media later in the year. They’ll ask aggressive questions and will be quite happy to make him a villain if he keeps giving smart arse answers

It’s a bit different than having friendly chats with Knowler etc

I agree. Obviously he can do no wrong in our publics eyes, but they don't give a shit about him. I recall Mitchell and Thorne having a frost relationship with the media, difference was back then is they also got heavily criticized if things weren't going well, by media and public.

How does it compare to what you wrote in the previous 2-3 seasons? I think the criticism has been mild

To be Fair I probably did blast Foster but this is one hell of a year for your first year as coach EOYT that is daunting 2 tests v SA in SA.
But I am not happy by the results either or totally convinced on the coaching group atm.

I'm curious, what aren't you convinced about the current coaching group? Our attack is looking good with Hansen taking responsibility, we are no longer having trouble getting past the rush defense, our attack looks really effective imo, defense has also been good. Our big problem atm is discipline, it's losing us these games.

You could argue our forwards did enough to win us both games. But we just don't have the killer instinct right now
