All relationships are personal. Get over it.

he has a poor attitude judging by his social media
Where have you got that from?
Just guessing, but Iād say his social media?

These coaches know who is mentally consistent and focused over a whole season or more. They aren't all that interested in a highlights reel.
Yeah true, Bell and Sititi have definitely shown that across their storied careers.
except they are younger (22, 21) and will get much better, Sotutu is nearly 27.
Hoss was born in 98?

Would be interesting who they see as the next 6 from outside the squad (not including Akira or Frizell)
Flanders? Grace? Haig? Lio-Willie as a 6?
Suafoa has the physique.

The loosies that were work horses this year were Dalton, Sotutu, Jacobson.
I've never been a fan of Jacobson but he lifted his game this year. Very surprised there's room for him and Blackadder in the squad though.
Luke at 7 and Ethan at 6?

May get better. Sotutu doesn't exactly have a foot in the grave. As Duluth said, the stats don't lie, he was one of the top loosies in SR. It's personal
he has a poor attitude judging by his social media and refused to answer Jason Ryan's phone calls last year, it's time to move on, he's overrated and always has been.
I think you may want to read this post again https://www.forum.thesilverfern.com/post/955354

I'm assuming its personal at some level. MacDonald struggled with him early on.
Why did MacDonald struggle with him?
From memory he thought he had an attitude issue early on. MacDonald confronted him about it then realised he's just quiet during trainings/meetings but he did put in the work. This was in the media a couple of years back.
Different personalities etc. He'd never be a captain obviously
-
Players like Akira and Hoskins obviously have the talent, and good coaches will get the best out of them. Cotter got them playing to their potential consistently this year, it's obvious the current AB coaches don't believe they can do the same hence them picking their favourites instead of the form players.

While that's nice to know Sotutu has aged 2 years since this morning, that's a completely different topic.
-
He could earn far more playing for a French club and could still represent Fiji in a years time - as his last test was Nov 2022, we are flush with loose forwards, it's probably the position we'd be least concerned about, we don't exactly need him do we?

All I can really say is Razor wanted to be known as the coach who picked the best players...
Hold my bud light say Bell, Perofeta, Blackadder, Jacobsen and Tosi (who was on no-one's rader but the AB selectors it appears).
Feel sory for Sotutu, Plumber, Laki and Love - all of them deserve to be there.
Very odd we've only got 3 players covering 1st 5 and fullback.
Tosi has played very well all year. Includingwhen Lomax was injured. But I thought as he didn't play for the Crusaders he would be completely overlooked.
Plummer is unlucky but will always be a steady but limited 1st. But would pick him anyday as 1st before Barrett. Or Cameron
Lakai and Loves time will come even not playing for Robertsons team

All the contentious selections went with provincial bias of the selectors.
Ryan with Bell.
Razor with blackadder. Jacobsen is also a bad call and I'm a Chiefs fan.
McDonald with Perofeta. In appearing to be fair they seemed to have made it worse.
Agree.
Also, the captain. Robertson seems to be unable to work with anyone but his mates. I could understand if he had a team of coaches he hardly knew but not the case
They had a chance to make a statement and they blew it. Team has better win otherwise they will be rubbished
Bell especially seems like a joke selection. But I've only watched him closely once for part of a game and then wrote him off. Now he's an AB??
