RWC SF: All Blacks v Argentina

Just started watching the game (fell asleep last night), and LOL @ the Argies trying to take players out ahead of most rucks.
What, so you mean All Blacks illegitimately daring to get within a metre of a ruck being fairly removed by the brave Argentinians?

@kiwiinmelb nah, I'd love to beat SA, given we have only met 1 other time, would be the ultimate clash of the titans.
Although revenge for 2019 would sweet...
Fuck that I want the easy route, imagine how fucked England would be if they defeat the boks
Yeah but imagine the fucking moaning and excuses from your English mates. I'm already seeing dickheads moaning about how NZ were average and lucky that Argentina were a disgrace.

Fair play Fozzie. You’ve got us to the final. Now let’s knock the bugger off! That extra days rest will be handy.
They gave motm to JB but I thought Mounga was outstanding (apart from being ball greedy at the end)
He left 15 points out there with poor kicking and not passing.
Completely wrong.

I wonder if Burgers comments are more calculated than just a whinge. Start sowing the seeds in the minds of Barnes or whoever refs the final. Get the press talking about how the All Blacks are a protected species
If that is the case, then it’s pretty dumb because I doubt any ref is reading any social media during the RWC.

If you want superb analysis read Murray Kinsella.

Thought ABs got the rub of the green without it being spectacularly over the top. Same as Boks last Week, basically. Only this time it certainly was not close to game deciding
Eh? I thought Gardner should’ve penalised the Argies a hell of a lot more in the 1st half for their play at the ruck. I lost count of the number of times Smith was having to jump over, go around or dig out the ball from some lazy Argies body on our side of the ruck. It was appalling.

Random thought: If our next opponent happens to be the Springboks, will WR allow us both to wear our traditional black and green strips, or is someone going to have to wear their reverse strip?
The ABs will be wearing their traditional grey.

I really like the consistency and calmness of the front row when Lomax plays. And De Groot. While they keep winning I leave it to the coaches as to hooker. So lucky we have 3 v good v different styles of hooker.
Big shout out to the 4 young props. They have handled the last couple of weeks with aplomb. All 4 have played their part. Our scrum has been a different animal, hungry, mean, and balanced too. EDG and Lomax keep building their stocks and will only get better.

They may not be scrolling X , but they’re not deaf to stuff making headlines. I’m sure they hear stuff.

They're in the last 24 hours. How far back should we go to find him not cheerleading or making my earlier point?
-
@antipodean whatever. You win.

@Machpants I'd prefer to have ST, he takes it straight up the middle when we need it and doesn't disappear off seagulling on the wing glory hunting. Coles is still good but if ST can keep up his throwing he has to stay on.
LOL glory hunting, dude 2s and 8s have been positioned on the wing by every team for the last 10 or so years. It is what they do now, in part due to Coles effectiveness there.
