RWC SF: All Blacks v Argentina

Had to miss 2nd half due to a meeting but saw the first half with an Irish fan who kept complaining how passive the AB defenders were to last week and if only they had been like that against Ireland - was that waiting passivity in the defensive line a deliberate tactic?
Nb he was still salty about last week.

Gardner was tres fucking merde.
Why? Where'd he fuck up?

Also - thoughts on whether Sami did enough to warrant the bench spot next week? Tough on Coles who hasn’t played badly, but he def adds a point of difference
Nope, his line out is still not accurate enough. And Coles is a point of difference too, just in a different way

There is nothing more tedious than a massive online ref whinge from supposed "neutrals"
Oh no, if only Angus had found ways to scrub off 4 AB tries, then they would only have won by
Checks notes
3 triesI thought Gardner was good today. Super clear in his communication. Didn't blow little shit, but obvious shit. The dominant team got the rub, same as always.
Irish fans thinking thats a stitch up are completely devoid of self-reflection.
I don't expect perfection, I expect a guy to manage thr game and let the players sort it out
(If I had a whinge I thinknthe worst call of the game was binning a guy for an infraction 80+ metres from.his try line with no warning)
Everyone goes against the ABs when they start winning. Especially from the British Isles, that’s nothing new.
Which makes Burgers comments all the more disappointing. That’s not the bloke that used to smash and be smashed by JC back in the day then have a beer afterwards !
Because he sees the same thing that everyone else sees, apart from those wearing black tinted glasses. Another fuck up of a ref shafting the weaker team on the micro decisions over the entire game. Of course it makes no difference to the outcome of the game. AB's were always going to hammer a poor Argentina side. But it does end any competitiveness and the potential for a decent game to watch.
You’re contradicting yourself right here.

Good question.
And how do you choose?

I wonder if Burgers comments are more calculated than just a whinge. Start sowing the seeds in the minds of Barnes or whoever refs the final. Get the press talking about how the All Blacks are a protected species
Yeah he is far too much of a ‘play hard, leave it on the pitch’ type guy than a whinger I would have thought
Wiese weighing in too. The SA media Mafia making their play.

So Ireland were a weak team!? Gotcha?
-
I really like the consistency and calmness of the front row when Lomax plays. And De Groot. While they keep winning I leave it to the coaches as to hooker. So lucky we have 3 v good v different styles of hooker.

Ritchie should do the same during the game tommorrow. Oh no that's right...he actually has some class.

At about 200kg by the looks of him these days.

That is exactly what the Walrus and Burger are doing.
-
@Steven-Harris why are you asking me?
I’m not a ref watcher on the whole, I respect their job is basically impossible.
The TMO, different.

Well no, he’s just being a whiny, cantankerous fluffybunny like he’s been since the dawn of time.
Burger is still a good dude in my eyes. My favourite Bok during his playing days.
-
Just strolled through the NH media on X.
To be fair most were high in praise of NZ and critical of Gardner not the over arching point. Only true exception of this …. Walrus.
He’s playing so many of you like a fiddle.
If you want NH media AB fanboy level read Paul Williams. If you want superb analysis read Murray Kinsella.
Walrus has no place anymore, except in his own ego, and relies on winding ppl up to remain relevant.
-
I'm not saying our shit don't stink - we definitely have our share of dickheads, but I'd be bloody embarrassed if ex ABs were using Twitter or whatever tf its called these days to criticise the ref in that manner and with that motivation. Just hope England gives them something else to moan about.

Just started watching the game (fell asleep last night), and LOL @ the Argies trying to take players out ahead of most rucks.
What, so you mean All Blacks illegitimately daring to get within a metre of a ruck being fairly removed by the brave Argentinians?
