It’s 2023 and Wayne Barnes is still a cheating fluffybunny.
I hate that pompous prick. Thought he was going to rob us again as he did in 2007.
Get over yourselves fellas. Any other ref and we would've been rolled, bowled and arseholed.
no - he did his usual mostly excellent, with some brain farts. Strong disagree.
Who would've been better?

World number 1
You're right. As long as they still doing double points for RWC matches, and the rankings shown are prior to this match.
That takes us to 90.91, them to 90.57.
France 90.59.
SA 89.70Not working out permutations of that. Do France get home advantage penalty?
Only unofficial, as they only change once a week. And whomever wins France versus SA will be official number one next week

I walked out of the room. Totally stressed out with this shit.

Scoreboard pressure means something aye!
The fact they needed a try and Jordie had nailed that penalty to get it out to 4 points meant they couldn’t set up for a droppie.
We can’t underestimate how important Aaron Smith was at the end of the game. You can hear him just barking to our boys to get up and realign after each ruck. He would’ve had a point to prove after the YC. Thanks Nuggie, you are an AB legend.
Did the Irish bottle it a bit when they needed that try ,
Their elaborate attack we normally see with the ball being moved around and runners going everywhere all of a sudden became conservative and made it easier for us to defend .
No. As much as I’d love to stick the boots in 😉
I think a combination of the intensity, the time, there were guys sucking in the big ones. They still spread it wide and made metres in that passage.
We just kept our nerve and then it took a phenomenal play to get the win.

It was funny to hear both Mils and Wilson go all Marshall near the end with some on-air comments about the Savea non-penalty and then the final Whitelock ruck penalty.
Fark I've got to hear the NZ commentary. I dislike Goldie as a pundit but seeing Ireland packed up and fucked off I can live with it for another week.

Ha ha. Yeah, my dear Mum couldn't watch the last couple of minutes. Went and "hid" in the laundry.

They totally choked, overconfident with going for the try rather than the three. They had shape and go forward, but weren't as fit at the end either. That is the biggest choke in rwc along side the red roses last year, but they had a red. They were both on record runs, having smashed the opposition earlier, and should have won. Far bigger chokes than abs have ever done

And they played 20 min against 14 men.

I said before the game the advantage the ABs have is the metronomic method of their attack. We knew how we could beat them but were we good enough to action a plan to do so. Turns out we were.

Glad to have been proven wrong
Congratulations the ABs -
@ACT-Crusader That definitely sounded like Wilson. Barnes was having none of it.

Congrats boys, and congrats on your express pass to the final
You cheeky bugger.
Argies speed is a problem that requires a different defensive plan than what we saw against the Irish.

It was ridiculous. You bet your ass if that were O'Whiny over the ball Sexcunt would have been yelling at Barnes.
