@Crucial I saw a comment on SM by a Welsh fan claiming the roof should have been left open for all the legends in heaven to witness an historic Welsh victory!

@Crucial said in All Blacks vs Wales:
Not sure if anyone has mentioned but the roof will be closed according to Foster
At least they know whether it's open or closed this time. Who says Foster isn't making progress?

The omens are not good.
England referee Wayne Barnes will mark his 100th Test at Cardiff on Sunday (NZT) by starting the game with the whistle used in the famous 1905 Test between Wales and the All Blacks.
Wales won 3-0, but the game has forever been remembered for the non-awarding of a try to All Blacks centre Bob Deans who maintained, until his premature death in 1908 from complications after an appendix operation, that he had scored a fair try.Barnes, Cardiff, Deans.....what could go wrong?
And a whistle that doesn’t work

Pleased they are sticking with JB at 12, could be the way forward from here on.
I can understand the workload thing for ST, but Taylor is a big drop down these days.
Interesting that Christie can get dropped for a poor performance against Japan, but Frizzell stinking up the joint does not. Made no impact with his supposed power game against a pretty small Japan side.
Similar to JB at 12, it's time to play Akira at 6 - same with Dalton at 7 and start building that combo. I like what the other posters above mentioned with Sotutu being on the bench instead, gives options for real impact from the bench combined with impact from the start.
Dropped? Was he ever a realistic chance to start?

Come on man.

Normally I would get up for a 415 match, not too bad a time. But I will get up whenever I wake up and watch delayed, fuck you Foster for what you have done to my team.
Saying that, I reckon they'll smash the Welsh, then lose to Scotland. Haven't done two decent (let alone good) games in a row under Foster ever.
Very happy to see Jordie at 12, and apart from Taylor (who has to be the worst AB that is continually picked) I'm happy with the team.
It might have taken him 2 1/2 years, and a lot of injuries, but Foster is starting to select with only a few out of form favourites, rather than a lot
Go the ALL BLACKS anyway!

Umm, he was a realistic chance to be on the bench instead of Weber. He's been dropped from the 23.

Question was asked and answered in the presser.
It’s more a case of giving him some game time as compensation for pulling him from the XV than it is a judgment on FC -

@antipodean just call me Mr Omelette
-
Farking Frizzel. He's had like one OK game against SA, and loads of anonymous performances, and just continues to get selected. Meanwhile Akira has had multiple MOTM performances and can't get consistent gametime. That just boggles my mind, the only way Akira is going to get more consistent with his performances is by playing him as much as possible. His ceiling is so much higher than Frizzel's it's not even funny.

Stoked with the backline though. Excited for this one

Is that sarcasm or are you serious?
-
@ARHS no you’re right, Frizzell has been awesome. I really enjoyed when he subbed on and immediately passed to an Irish player to give up a try. Or as a sub he jogged back on defence and just watched the opposition score. Or got creased by a back in the Argentina game. Just excellent stuff.
That’s sarcasm.

Neither frizzell nor akira are particularly amazing. From what I’ve seen frizzell shades it but then I’m not a blues supporter. Akira is like one of those lads that tears it up at schoolboy level then never really kicks on. It’s far from a scandal that frizzell has been picked to start.
