    Crusaders will be happy
No Mounga, Taylor, Goodhue or Blackadder back yet,
They will be pleased with Burke performance.

    We need more jordie

Yeah well deserved try for Jordie he’s been awesome for the Canes.

They should've gone upstairs for that try. There must have been a mistake in the lead up.

The mistake was not carding the Crusader that killed the ball just before hand

@chris it’s frightening ..you have got to be at your very best to stay in the fight against the Saders unfortunately for the Canes ,poor passing and kicking has ensured they always going to finish 2nd ..
Showing some fight at the finish, but far too little too late

That was a decent performance. Crusaders were clinical and very good in defence (despite conceding 32 points). We just needed to take our chance when the Crusaders were down to 14 men.

Better than chiefs and Landers last game. Not that it means anything, but that performance was better than last game.

Very disappointing from the Crusaders, same defensive frailties that plagued them last year and it looks like they have made no progress in fixing it over the off season.

@chris there loose forward mix looked better when Savea,Flanders and Iose were the back 3 , best front row is definitely Rakete Stones ,Lomax and Coles when he’s available , I don’t see them as top 3 but they should improve and will win more than what they lose ..once the passes started to stick and players got into open space they looked a good team ..

Canes should start someof their bench players next game. Iose v good. JGB far better than Love. Sullivan was sharp. Sangster looks a very good buy. Crusaders were solid but got rub of the green at times I felt.

    Haven't read the thread.

Good to see the kiwi refs carrying on with their untouchable Crusaders theme from last year, no doubt that will be great for the AB's yet again come test rugby season.

Don't think I'll bother with too many Saders games this year.

Liked what I saw from Jordan though, handling through the roof compared to last year.

Great to see the refs looking to play on if a player is down injured - unless a Crusader player then goes down injured.

Extremely clear and obvious knock on from May, just a shame he never touched it due to Barrett batting it out of the way.

Funny to see the 50/22 lineout resulting from Drummond's kick being taken well outside the 22.
