@chris Hmmm not sure about that, unless you count the Aussie teams?

Better than chiefs and Landers last game. Not that it means anything, but that performance was better than last game.

@chris there loose forward mix looked better when Savea,Flanders and Iose were the back 3 , best front row is definitely Rakete Stones ,Lomax and Coles when he’s available , I don’t see them as top 3 but they should improve and will win more than what they lose ..once the passes started to stick and players got into open space they looked a good team ..

Yep totally agree.

Liked what I saw from Jordan though, handling through the roof compared to last year.
Great to see the refs looking to play on if a player is down injured - unless a Crusader player then goes down injured.
Extremely clear and obvious knock on from May, just a shame he never touched it due to Barrett batting it out of the way.
Funny to see the 50/22 lineout resulting from Drummond's kick being taken well outside the 22.

Watching this back today.
Pickerill positions himself differently depending on who has the ball. So many times he is facing the sideline with every Crusaders player behind him in front of last feet. He's watching a ruck which has already been decided, and doesn't set expectation from the A line consistently.
Then that 50/22 in the 55th minute that absolutely wasn't. And the AR sets a line inside the 22 but the throw is taken from outside. The fuck?
Mike Fraser looking for reasons not to give a try against the Crusaders at every opportunity. Wow.

@crucial watch the VOD. His fingertip bent as it made contact with the ball. I know it's marginal but contact is contact.
You must have some sort of amazing frame rate and clarity on your pics.
I have watched it over and over and there’s one frame that possibly could show a slight movement of a finger but it’s a huge stretch to call it clear and obvious. Even after that shot the TMO searches for something clear (tells the ref to hang on I’m still looking) then strangely has a decision.
It most certainly wasn’t clear or obvious. Ruling out tries on possibles or even probables is bullshit. -
Iose should start next weekend. He was dynamic. Offers more than Kirifi.
Why oh why were we kicking the pill down the middle of the field - could you do anything dumber against Jordan?
Oh wait - you could try and score maul tries against the Saders rather than use your strengths.
Sigh.
A lot of promise, and a heap of talent in this squad, but the plans they must be given by our coaching group are hard to fathom.
Ardie should have taken 3's in the first half too. Keep building the pressure.

Watching game now and just got to the May knock on to rule out Ardie's try.
TMOs can fuck right off.
