Fourth try. Nice
I thought it was his 5th?
Ah yeah my bad. Thought the hat trick was the equaliser with Sivivatu.

@NTA I sincerely hope those aren’t the refs you suffer at club grade?
That was amateur hour.Astonishment at his reasoning. And I thought Damon Murphy was bad!

If anyone was wondering the TMO was Brett Cronan, the same muppet that ruined the Force-Chiefs game.
Wainui is now the most unlikely Chiefs record-holder. Both Sivivatu and Tikoirotuma scored 4 tries.
That will end up being a good trivia question. He's a cool guy but not in Sivi's league.

Yuk. That is the most incompetently officiated game of the super season. Ref and tmo were horribly off form.. The crowd and spectators deserve better than that. The rules need to be sorted. What a lottery! Didn't think I would ever see worse than the tmo performance earlier in the series over there and just found out it was the same guy Brett Cronan.

Is the crowd just going to spend the rest of the game booing now after the red card?
TBF, most of the crowd booing for the yellow were booing the reds decision, not the player.

@arhs the problem isn't really the laws/rules. It's the officials.
... and one or two good ones won't change that. The consistency of refereeing has been absolutely horrific this year (and for a while). I'm happy to talk intepretations, but some of the decision making with the benefit of TMO live just leads to utterly random calls. What really shits me is the ref standing there watching something happen live, and then looking at a replay and going yellow card. Really? How bloody clear is that?
The AR ability to actually see who is in touch and who isn't appears to be woefully limited as well, the skill levels are abysmal.
