@old-samurai-jack funny thought, but then ya realise it probably wouldn't happen in "normal" times.
Almost like it's unprecedented

Congrats NZRU for your astute selection of the coaching team. Did not expect us back to number one in the World so quickly or with so much depth across the park so soon.
We're still not number 1. Still reserving judgement until the end of the year, as NZR should have

Full Rankings
Position Teams Points
1 (2) New Zealand 91.15
2 (1) South Africa 90.95Interesting we got there by beating Argentina while Boks are left to ponder how Australians drag just about everyone else down

@arhs booooo. I wanted to take it off them this weekend.
Home game for us this weekend, so I assume they could take it straight back off us? Would that possibly be the shortest lived 1 ranking?
There are a few 1 weeks at top during the last RWC, equal shortest then. Home or away, we're so close in points whomever wins is top, same next weekend, I think
World Rugby are morons, we got this ranking because Australia beat South Africa in Australia, which counted as a home game for SA, the same for Argentina last weekend. There is a neutral venue option for NZ/arg and NZ/SA but nope.
Edit: in fact Argentina and SA never had games at home even planned!

Might have been his best game in black. He did everything that was asked of him and more, without the brain farts that have plagued him in the past
I'm going to allow myself a farking great portion of smug satisfaction. His class was always there but for whatever reason some were willing to write him off age 19. It just goes to show that players mature, develop and improve. Writing anyone off that young is simply idiotic.
It's particularly ironic that of the 2 players who were written off as "shit" very young, one is now the captain and the other played a blinder and saved the game last week.
