They were both in that journey so I blame them both - and Hammett and Philpott. Itโ€™s like Iโ€™m doing an @ACT-Crusader style selection of crappy coaches. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Mitchell would have called Rieko out for carrying the ball and scoring with the wrong hand

Travel is travel. Your body doesn't miraculously adjust better just because you live in that country.

How long does that take? Hopefully it's not as slow as your brain eh.

Or as your witty as your comebacks.

How long would they take to acclimatise do you think?

Thats the point, people need to acclimatise people have routines traveling on the same day does not work.

MOD: Cut out the personal crap.

No, I know nothing about travel.

So what you're saying is that the team that flew in from NSW on the day would be badly effected by the travel and not able to acclimatise, leading to them playing poorly?

Familiarity with your surroundings matters. And yes you do know nothing about it.

@voodoo I donโ€™t know but @number9 doesnโ€™t like the fact that the ABs traveled to Brisbane from Sydney on game day because thatโ€™s unfair.

And now it seems @number9 doesnโ€™t like the fact that the Wallabies travelled to Brisbane on game day because it gave them an advantage

Make sense? If not, go ask your girlfriend or your dog.

Same day travel to and from the ground does not help preparations. It is a question of mindset and regular patterns.
The red not taking control ffucked everything up, red and yellows sucked.

Should have subbed off Reece and left Akira on, we needed an 8 man scrum. Reece was ineffective and Akira was one of our best. We beat the Aussies up front we should have kept it this way.

TJP needs to stop reffing the game and just do his job, too slow reminds me of Ruru. When we had the ball in hand and built around multiple phases we were awesome, our first try was brilliant.

We were relying too much on a counter attack kick chase, which the Aussies had clearly game planned for. BB did not change the game plan when it was not working, which is something the Crusaders do very well.

I would have subbed Webber in at the 50 minute mark. Giving him 4 minutes was a shit call.

The Team looked out of synch from the get go.

Still can't understand subbing Laumape (solid but invisible) and leaving Reece, who was error prone.

In terms of cards we came out better off. Reece committed an obvious professional foul on our 22 in the first half, just flopping on the ball and hanging onto it to stop them clearing. Similar to Koroibete but probably worse and got away with just a penalty.

I said before I'm not a fan of the card happy refs but it didn't end up benefiting Aus.

The red card situation definitely favoured Australia. They only lost Swinton but the ABs lost Ofa and Akira. The consequence of that was that Lomax played much more minutes than he was expected to, and faded in the 2nd half, and it removed one of the better performing players through no fault of his own. Losing a front rower to a red card early in a game is always a double whammy.

Not that I can remember it happening!
