@number9 😂 they travelled on the same day.

Good imagination though. I don't have a dog...I take it you do.

Bullocks they are locals and we are not, figure it out mate.

Travel is travel. Your body doesn't miraculously adjust better just because you live in that country.

Oh right, they live at the ground do they?

I see you aren't denying owning a dog.

    No but you definitely do.

How long does that take? Hopefully it's not as slow as your brain eh.

Or as your witty as your comebacks.

How long would they take to acclimatise do you think?

Thats the point, people need to acclimatise people have routines traveling on the same day does not work.

MOD: Cut out the personal crap.

No, I know nothing about travel.

So what you're saying is that the team that flew in from NSW on the day would be badly effected by the travel and not able to acclimatise, leading to them playing poorly?

Familiarity with your surroundings matters. And yes you do know nothing about it.

@voodoo I don’t know but @number9 doesn’t like the fact that the ABs traveled to Brisbane from Sydney on game day because that’s unfair.

And now it seems @number9 doesn’t like the fact that the Wallabies travelled to Brisbane on game day because it gave them an advantage

Make sense? If not, go ask your girlfriend or your dog.

Same day travel to and from the ground does not help preparations. It is a question of mindset and regular patterns.
The red not taking control ffucked everything up, red and yellows sucked.

Should have subbed off Reece and left Akira on, we needed an 8 man scrum. Reece was ineffective and Akira was one of our best. We beat the Aussies up front we should have kept it this way.

TJP needs to stop reffing the game and just do his job, too slow reminds me of Ruru. When we had the ball in hand and built around multiple phases we were awesome, our first try was brilliant.

We were relying too much on a counter attack kick chase, which the Aussies had clearly game planned for. BB did not change the game plan when it was not working, which is something the Crusaders do very well.

I would have subbed Webber in at the 50 minute mark. Giving him 4 minutes was a shit call.

The Team looked out of synch from the get go.

Still can't understand subbing Laumape (solid but invisible) and leaving Reece, who was error prone.

In terms of cards we came out better off. Reece committed an obvious professional foul on our 22 in the first half, just flopping on the ball and hanging onto it to stop them clearing. Similar to Koroibete but probably worse and got away with just a penalty.

I said before I'm not a fan of the card happy refs but it didn't end up benefiting Aus.

The red card situation definitely favoured Australia. They only lost Swinton but the ABs lost Ofa and Akira. The consequence of that was that Lomax played much more minutes than he was expected to, and faded in the 2nd half, and it removed one of the better performing players through no fault of his own. Losing a front rower to a red card early in a game is always a double whammy.

Not that I can remember it happening!

All these deletions are bringing back unwelcome memories of Scott Barrett.

I'm all for not getting personal, but I kinda expected a post calling me a dickhead, tosser and calling my girlfriend's sexual exploits into question might get removed, rather than one with me calling someone sharp...

I thought I removed all of them with those references, but if I haven't, please flag for moderation and it shall be done.

It's cool. We've been discussing getting a dog, so now at least I know why.

You should have a dog. Given you never ever travel and know nothing about acclimatising, it would be good for you ....

That's a fair point. Though we didn't have to lose Akira. We just went with the cookie cutter "sub off your 6 if you lose a front rower" despite Akira being one of our most effective players on the park.

Teams train to play without a 6 though and I'm pretty sure it's been clearly thought through that that is where you can best hide the gap.

I guess you could have chosen Ardie instead, but that would be losing one of our best players over the past couple of years for a guy on debut who had had a bright 20 minutes.

    I don't think it's a very valid argument.

And yes Sevu was having a stinker but you don’t replace a back in that circumstance unless you are willing to have a forward defend in the backline at set piece.

we took Kaino off for SBWs explosion against the Lions didn't we? That says pretty much everything.

It was only after that SOB took out Navolo with deliberate swinging arm that AB’s defence was so disrupted that Lions managed to break it.

Seven man pack was absolutely heroic in taming eight man Lions.
