Surprised this one only has 265k views. One of the all time greats

Marler got some very real threats apparently which is why he backed down.
Disappointing to hear.
That's quite pathetic on the part of the people whose arses are chapped
'I'm offended', so fucking what

@scribe Joe likes to pretend he's a hard man, but did he ever play on with one testicle torn open and hanging loose?
You could say that about Bakkies Botha, Brad Thorn and Martin Johnson too. 🤷
There’s only one Buck.
I had a ridiculous discussion with a Leeds Rhinos bloke where said League friend insisted, absolutely insisted, that League players were much, much harder men than Union.
I sent him a 2-word text: Buck Nantes
Having watched and played both codes, both codes have their tough, tough men.
Different games with different skill sets - and in NZ's case, different haka.
-
@MajorRage ANYTHING said against the Haka or any aspect of Maori culture is called out on social media as racist or disrespectful...everyone, everywhere apparently is meant to know what it means in Maori culture, while at the same time, not to use it inappropriately, even if you think it is for good.

@taniwharugby white appropriation.

Marler now retiring from International Rugby. I do hope that it’s not because of this issue.
I see now that there has been suggestions online that NZ could be fined for advancing within 10m of the England line during the Haka. I guess theme the rules but how ludicrous has it all become?
-
@Catogrande He was at Twickenham yesterday. He and Scott Robertson were having a good chinwag about something.
-
@Catogrande huh? Didn't England advance first?
-
@MajorRage said in The Haka:
@Bones both did.
This is the bullshit that puts me in the no Haka camp.
2 rules for me.
- Stay in your half.
- Opposition does what it wants.
I don't think anyone apart from WR have a problem with either team advancing. But we know that's exciting and makes people want to watch and that's against WR's ethos.

IIRC the crowd were busy singing their slave song and quickly stopped and started to roar when the ABs advanced. It was all part of the theatre of the match

I don't know why anyone thinks WR has rules for haka outside of WC. They don't, never have,they don't control what happens before tests,other than WCs, where they control all rematch stuff including how teams come on field, how anthems are done, and advertising. Outside of WC it is up to home union, they can scrap hakas,sivis or anything they want. There is no rules about anyone from advancing etc and never has been. Did anyone see Scotland/Fiji pregame? Fijians were up to halfway in a semi circle, and rightfully f*** all said.

yeah up to the halfway line and not within 10m of NZ, which I understood was the rules but as has been suggested, maybe that is only for RWC games? Dunno but all unclear and more importantly, unnecessary.

@Catogrande I've always thought it was not past your own ten, since Cockerill. England always ruining it for the rest of us.
