Japan vs All Blacks

@bovidae I'd hoped for Naholo on the right wing, Bridge on the left, Havili on the bench, and NMS sent to the MABs.
Apart from Perry, the players used during the season as injury replacements are all starting. Coltman ahead of Aumua for the same reason, but Coles was always going to start.

@bovidae Yeah, I know. I just find it odd. If Laumape goes down, I suppose Jordie will move to 12; if Proctor goes down, they'll move either Naholo or Jordie to centre. I just don't think that's a good idea. Except for his lack in experience at test level, I think Bridge is currently much better than NMS.

haha just listening to RS and Goran is like 'coming up on the show we have 2 test AB James Parsons, and as we have a number of guys in this team named who will likely not play again for the ABs, we can ask him what thats like'

Going to the bench late in the game for experience just got a lot harder..

Certainly a possibility to lose this one, what result do you guys reckon?
I thoguht it looked a decent side - not strong, but possibly more of an issue that they only met each ohter a few days ago

I had a feeling they might look to play Ofa at LH.
Will be pretty interesting to see how he gets on there. I don't recall him there since he became a decent scrummager.
In any case I'm pleased, because I really wanted to see Tyrel Lomax get some time, rather than RON. Lomax gave Moody plenty to think about in the Mako/Cantab semifinal.
I'll tell y'all what though - if this game is tight at the 60 minute mark, we're in some trouble!
Edit: Japan only paying $21 now!

Went OK against the Lions for the Blues last year. Can't remember him playing Loosehead since then though.

Pretty tough on Bryn Hall.
Drummond possibly getting the nod because he played M10 Cup with Cameron?
We just don't want it to rain eh?
-
@machpants dont reckon he'll have another of those proportions!
I reckon this side will win it comfortably, green for sure, but plenty of talent.

has to be last chance saloon for NMS.
Naholo should be spewing he's been left behind with the dirty dirties. I expect a goddamn volcanic response.
He's only played 12 tests. I thought it was heaps more than that.
Hemopo looks well short in every sense of the word to be taking on the big ( again in every sense of the word ) boys as an international lock. Thank goodness it's only Japan.
( I wonder if any bok fans posted stuff like this in 2015 ? )

Based on last week's game they could roll out a lock with a very Japanese name (Wimpie van der Walt) who is only 1.88 m. That's shorter than the 4 AB props playing.

I'm taking you haven't seen him play. Got himself noticed by laying into absolutely everything against the Lions. Haven't noticed height ever being a problem for him - he's your workhorse type lock in the Thorn mould.
