@kruse The funny thing is that the Argentinian head coach is last year's Wallabies assistant coach.

I like Creevy as a captain. Nice words in his interview. Very understated.

Yeah - although I'm not sure if he's not understanding, or just deliberately ignoring, the condescension in some of those questions.

I haven't watched a minute of it, but

Giving up that many points at home is unacceptable.

    Cracking match.

Goodhue is there until he's injured.

BB can rest easy. Mo was good but not good enough.

    Read is colossal.

With Eddie Jones putting all his eggs on Billy V, he's forgotten how important a line out jumping & winning back rower is. Especially if your best lock goes off early.

Oz should be worried. Based on that performance Arg could be looking at a 2nd place finish this Championship.

Indeed. The interviewer was a bit ‘pat-on-the-head’ with his comments about them nearly managing to do things.

Frizzle not bad but said the same about FFSFFifita this time last year and he's currently spending his Saturdays face down crying in a bog puddle at the Paekakariki Rec Centre.

RIP NMS AB career. Gets intercept then immediately thinks shit, thats right I got no pace now so gives the fucker straight back. He was like a lost little boy from the Make A Wish foundation

Fifita's AB can be summarised in a single run to the line. More was seen from Frizzell then the entirety of Fifita's displays to date. I doubt Fifita ever makes an AB squad again.

NMS might want to think about a switch to centre because, yeah, he is now too slow for an international wing.

Best players tonight were all backs: TJP, ALB and JG.

@taniwharugby If the ball is available (i.e. on the ground and ready to be played) then I think the ref is entitled to say that any player not on his feet must let the ball go. I think the law could be clarified slightly, but I think the ref is correct to say the ball should come out.

IF the ball WAS on the ground then I am OK with that call, though I admit the law is not entirely clear on this subject.

Good game to watch. I much prefer this Argie team to the negative, niggly, diving teams from previous years. Subbing your best player at 50 mins can't help though. At least there were no brain explosions from Johnathon Thurston's taller, more argentinia brother in the 5 jersey.

Think people here are being pretty harsh on Mounga. A few mistakes but actually played a pretty mature game and kicked his goals well.

Ardie played close to his best game in Black.

Frizzel was actually pretty impressive for someone so raw. Big dude too. Already looks more of a test 6 than Fifita.

TTT looked good in his cameo.

TJP had one of his better games i thought.

Karl T great in the scrums again.

ALB and Goodhue were good in midfield. Strong but controlled. Great to see.

Now for the bad. Harris WTF. The first thing on the list of hooker must haves is being able to throw the ball into the lineout. Consistently terrible.

NMS has lost his pace. It sux because he was awesome in 2015. Made some poor decisions too.
Hope someone like Alaimalo or Nanai get a chance on the EOYT.

@damo how? The guy obstructed the tackler, should've been a scrum at a minimum

That doesn’t take into account the opposition, the Argies were good for the points they scored. Best wingers on the field we’re not wearing black.

Fuck imagine their wingers on the end of an AB backline. Instant chubby and a metric shit-ton of tries. Some of the best attacking rugby I've seen against the abs of late.

Scrum wasn’t good enough, also wasn’t sure the pace they played was the best way to beat the All blacks. Thought the ruled out Try was really a try, but said it was hard to quibble when you have lost by 20.

Singled out the positives from the game but clearly wasn’t happy with just playing well against us, wants to win.

Argie back 3 was amazing, great gap running. Also nice working some gaps in close by Sanchez.

That's the most ruck turnovers (i.e not releasing penalties) I've seen in a match in years and years. Ref let first man contest. I liked it .

NZ monstered them in the scrum, which is not a huge surprise, particularly on the LH side, again not a surprise as I feel Karl T is going to dominate the next 5 years. But even Tim Perry lifted his opposite off the ground in the last scrum ....

Yes. Was a pretty good game all up.

AB's were the better team but Argies played well. NZ too good at taking opportunities as usual.

Great performance from ALB outside an uncertain Mounga on debut. My MOM for all his good work. Also liked the work of Taylor, Perenara and Frizzell.
