A guy who joined our club this year, with no history of rugby, asked about the 96-0 loss to France.

"Does this happen often? Is it good for the game?"

It occurred to me, while explaining the Africa 1 qualifier spot, just how absolutely bonkers it is that the Namibs get almost a guaranteed spot every RWC while other nations don't. They're shit, and not really getting any better.

Yeah surely Canada and their psycho lock who makes wine or the US with their crazy loosie with the flowing curly hair would be better bets for the WC than these chumps ?

@taniwharugby think it's got a lot to do with the way the whole team is doing it, the same with their obstruction - flooding it with numbers makes it look normal and the ref just misses it.

ALB and Jordie were the standouts for me, struggled to pick a third so didn't. Lots of players around the same level

I was the same but went for Frizell as my 3rd pick. The top tackler for the ABs, 2 lineout steals and a couple of decent carries. He's having a solid RWC so far.

He's going really well, as is Pat T. Those two hitting some form has given us some much needed depth at lock and 6.

@Nepia some people lack the mental capacity to recognise more than a handful of players. Trying to remember the names and actions of players from more than one team is a task too far for upper Southern islanders, it seems 😜

It was defintely backwards out of the hands - if you viewed it from the other side, while standing on your head, with both eyes closed...

Shocker of a missed call. I called it watching live as it happened. Clearly forward. Very surprised that at a minimum the TMO did not call it back.
