As I mentioned here https://www.forum.thesilverfern.com/post/997305 if they start Finau, Cane and Savea, then the bench can have a replacement lock, Sititi (who has played at 6 a couple of times now) and Lakai.
Why not start Sititi/Savea at 7/8 in whichever order, and Finau at 6 with Cane on the bench. Fresh experienced player on late, and the best players getting the most minutes.

There isn't an alternative universe where this coaching group is going to do that for this weekend.

Where is that Landers guy and the starting backline for England? He's a bit behind this week.... it's already Wednesday!

I’m trying. UK to NZ time difference isn’t our friend. Will be straight in here if I manage to get it. Will try for the AB XV too.

I actually like the idea of McKenzie off the bench. If used correctly he could really make a big difference.
Except he'll be put in when the game is mostly gone and will try things that will likely fail and everyone will complain he doesn't suit test rugby.

Against Japan he was threading the ball around the backline quite well I thought.

What I guessed but seeing that he did a Rassie with naming the Japan team early I had to make sure.

The captain is allowed to be subbed off if the other guy is going better.
That's why we have VC's isn't it?

@Bones the Weapon.
Imagine how good he'll be when he's 38.

I’m looking at the team lists, both announced and predicted, and wondering to myself, ‘How the hell is … playing international rugby in 2024?’

Any leaks ?
Listened briefly to senz yesterday arvo while driving and they were talking about the team being leaked .
Main talking points seemed to be beaudan at 10 , telia 14 , cam on bench .
But no idea how accurate that was
