Always hard to predict in Auckland but it looks like a decent weather forecast

Kind of boring to have nothing to be outraged by ,

But understandable to keep the continuity, having 2 weeks of close to the same 23 should be a bonus , no excuses this time of limited prep

It would appear that Jacobsen has the utility loose forward position off the bench all sewen up so we can't even be outraged by Blackadder making the team.

Quite unsporting of Robertson I feel.

    Disappointed with the team.

Perfect opportunity to start Williams, Newell, Blackadder, Hotham and bring Bell off the bench.

No. He’s timing his run ready for a recall for the Boks tour…

Great stuff. He’ll have learnt from the ragdolling last time he played them and be better for it.

@MN5 Actually, we won 35-23 and Dave scored what proved to be the match winning try!

Good point, it was the much lauded Jordie Barrett who did an Andrew Merhtens like tackle attempt on Andre Esterhuizen the last time the ABs played the Boks.

Put your money on a Havili recall.

    1. Happy to see the consistency in selection.

    2. My only concern is that the team we've picked is a little short on power. The best way to counter the rushed defence is to keep winning the collisions.

winning the collision against a rush defence still means contact behind the gain line generally, theyre obviously looking to beat the rush with speed

@MN5 Leon's just biding his time to get all his Mako boys back in there.

    Last week just Tyrel starting.

    This week Tyrel and Finlay.

    Next week Ethan.

Will Jordan at the start of TRC.

As ACT notes - Dave in time for South Africa. 🙂

Where are all the crusaders players. So bullshit that he’s picking the best players available. Thought he would sneak a few average crusaders in there.

@chchfanatic As above - Leon is pulling the strings in the Mako-isation of the All Blacks. 🙂

He's cleverly got Agent Reece and Agent Telea installed on the wings and no-one has noticed. He's even got @Tim going "Yeah - Go Harbour!".

Noah Hotham and Quin Strange for the EOYT.

Frizell and Big Leicester back for 2025.

Ben O'Keefe refereeing all the matches.

TJ and Joe Wheeler doing the commentary.

Everything played at NZ's latest Test venue Trafalgar Park.

Should all come to culmination about 2035 when our careful breeding programme puts young Mako Carter into the hotseat.

Well that's exactly what a constituency is for isn't it?

    Because we need Havili's physicality...
