All Blacks vs England 2

I def don't agree with the team big picture wise, but with the turn around/prep time it make perfect sense to stick. They can focus on specific players in specific roles, not have to bother with the dirty dirties who will get their go vs Fiji

Happy with the team, last week they certainly looked short of time together and keeping the same group together will build a lot of continuity and let the team gel. I'm happy that they haven't made changes just for the sake of making changes and I'm expecting a lift in the AB's performance this weekend.
Hopefully we can get some good go forward in the carry so our backs can have space out wide where we look very dangerous. Only making the gainline 40% of the time was a concern, we did a great job of recycling the ball but often went no-where.

Kind of boring to have nothing to be outraged by ,
But understandable to keep the continuity, having 2 weeks of close to the same 23 should be a bonus , no excuses this time of limited prep

It would appear that Jacobsen has the utility loose forward position off the bench all sewen up so we can't even be outraged by Blackadder making the team.
Quite unsporting of Robertson I feel.

Disappointed with the team.
Perfect opportunity to start Williams, Newell, Blackadder, Hotham and bring Bell off the bench.

No. He’s timing his run ready for a recall for the Boks tour…

Great stuff. He’ll have learnt from the ragdolling last time he played them and be better for it.

@MN5 Actually, we won 35-23 and Dave scored what proved to be the match winning try!
Good point, it was the much lauded Jordie Barrett who did an Andrew Merhtens like tackle attempt on Andre Esterhuizen the last time the ABs played the Boks.
Put your money on a Havili recall.

Happy to see the constituency in selection.

My only concern is that the team we've picked is a little short on power. The best way to counter the rushed defence is to keep winning the collisions.
winning the collision against a rush defence still means contact behind the gain line generally, theyre obviously looking to beat the rush with speed
