    @Smuts

    Easy to get a chance to try for a black belt at least.

    Not for poor old Siya. He did everything he could in the final to get one but the judges were under orders to not let it happen🤷

    Probably also when you look to have those guys in the team who've typically played second fiddle as you can't slot debutantes in between your experienced/superstar players.

    @mikedogz In how many of those years did we play a team like Tonga in the first test?

    I looked up 2010 with six debutants - not sure I could pick them all from the lineup though!

    Edit and it was Ireland in New Plymouth. Heaslip red card for kneeing McCaw, O'Gara yellow for taking out player. not a good day for Ireland.

    Regatta is generally a safe bet, their website indicates that are showing it, whether the sound will be on is another story…

    Port Office
    Regatta
    Caxton
    Criterion
    Stock Exchange
    Brekky Creek

    Screens are one thing, sound is something different.

    We went straight into the test series against Ireland with no warm up games either, if memory serves me correct. Last year we went straight into the RC without any warm ups, though that was a condensed year due to the RWC.

    I feel like we are giving the Northern sides an advantage by not scheduling a warm up against at least one of the Island nations. It also gives them a chance to play a tier 1 side more regularly so win win.

    Scot Barrett needs to work on talking to the media. Not a great interview.
