Funny how last week Wallace Sititi was the next big thing and an AB in waiting after walking through the Moana Pasifika 2nd string side, but got a good lesson last night.
Obviously he may well turn out to be that star in waiting and have a huge career ahead of him, but I think the massive hype was a tad premature.

Chiefs subs apart from Dyer seemed backwards steps.
Rewatch of second half. Forward replacements in fact OK for Chiefs.
But backs' defensive pattern turned to custard when Rona went off, Tuapea to 12 and Poihipi to 13. Several bad misses.
And ENS all over the place leaving holes for several breaks. Exacerbated by really poor kick straight to touch which ended up costing 7.
Had it been 29-23 with five to go would have been very interesting, given Canes's serial offences in red zone.

Didn't see last week. Early days for him for sure, but I thought there were some promising signs from him. There was a passage of play where he featured ball in hand multiple times and seemed to make post contact ground comfortably.
I also thought he made some pretty good tackles. A couple of times I noticed he put Aumua down. Not saying they were dominant tackles but they were text book.

Moorby I thought his best position would be wing (not FB) but he would only be a safe option. In fact, he's been class. AB quality even
AB possible contenders (excluding the certs like Lomax and Barrett)
Love. Continues to make his case. Option taking is VG. Unlike Morrby as a FB who is a wing not FB
Naholo. Surely, he must be an option now
Proctor. He's good enough esp if the team wants a distributor at centre
Perenara. Almost a cert if he keeps this form up
Lakai. Almost a certainty now (maybe).
Iose. Great form but unlikely especially with Savea returning
IWL. Maybe not. Great, then a quiet game. Has the same issue as Shields
Delany. Maybe as a 6 - lock cover. As at 1.95 he's very likely considered far too short for an AB lock
Numea. Improving year on year and must be in consideration now
Aumua. Form NZ SRP Hooker -

That's moronic. Why wasn't it already a YC?
Advantage, so the penalty wasn't called.
Why does that matter? YC infringement is YC infringement.
It's not an infringement if it isn't called.
I've never heard that in my life. If a high tackle was made it shouldn't be carded it points are scored then right?
I suspect you're being deliberately obtuse, but I'll answer anyway: Until the penalty is awarded for offside, there's no infringement while advantage is in use, hence no sanction.
So because the try was scored, there's no infringement. That's what you're saying right? Not sure I'm the one being obtuse.
How long have you been watching rugby? Never noticed a team scoring and the commentary saying player X is lucky or otherwise they'd probably be facing a YC? Never seen a ref play advantage until today and decide the appropriate sanction when going back to the original offence?
There's no offence if the ref determines the non-offending team has gained an advantage. There's an entire section in the laws dealing with this.
🤣 I've only been watching for 40 minutes Mr expert. So you've never seen anyone yellow carded for a previous infringement when a try has been scored? How long have you been watching rugby?
Name an instance when someone has been YC for offside when the non-offending team scores a try.
Hang on let me check my notebook for yellow cards handed out after a team scored a try.
It's happened at least a gazillion times by my records, I didn't note the specific instances unfortunately.

I think it's just rearranging deckchairs on the titanic at this point for the Cheifs in regards to winning the comp. The forward pack just doesn't have enough quality, a tight 5 filled with journymen and an unbalenced loose forward trio wont win you the big song.

As I said before the game, McMillan got some of his selections wrong for this game. Some players are better suited to being subs.
Had ENS gone to 15 when Stevenson off and Rona wing defence would sure have looked a lot more solid.

On that, ENS had a storming start to the season, but his form has definitely dipped in the past couple of games. If can get back to start of the season form I'd definitely be looking at him for ABs.

Very talented, but defence seems less of an issue at 15.
