also why is it a line graph? That's not appropriate for the "data"

I'm happy with Wayne Barnes, he keeps the game moving and won't allow the faking of injuries to slow it down. He's not a shadow of the ref who choked in 2007.
I'm nervous and hopeful, I see it as a 50-50 match. Mind boggling to me to see how many people think we have no chance. We are still the All Blacks and we have some magnificent players. The return of several key players after the France match is huge. If we can't get up for this one, we'll never get excited about a match.
We've got to start strong, hit them hard and slowly start putting the doubts in their minds that we used to get when favourites at a world cup. I hope there are no silly cards for accidental head clashes (but if there is, they go to Ireland this time). Come on Boys! It's still mind boggling how shocked some Irish fans are. The amount of gloating and premature celebrating on social media in the last 6 weeks is insane.
I felt Barnes went okay in how he reffed the ruck but missed some big calls - blatant from the side of the ruck when we were on attack. Not looking at a head high after we got an advantage. Massive forward pass in that last play, then a neck roll then a penalty to Ardie. I hope the TMO would have wanted a look at a few things if they had scored.
Very happy with Angus for the semi. Hope he has a good match so he also gets the final (likewise for the All Blacks).Edit: Woops I quote my own post instead of canefan's response. But I'm okay with it
Tbf I talked to a number of Irish before the game and they were shit scared. Like everything in general, I don't think certain media idiots or online "fans" are a fair reflection of the reality.

Weird that people upset about some footage of some crap refereeing that could have cost us the game at the death are upset by some malnourished internet nobody drawing a graph about Sam Cane.

A line graph is the only way to show

Maybe this is the opposite of the 2007 RWC campaign. Rather than over thinking it about whether individual players can get through three knockout games in a row, just get stuck in and fire up for each game at a time.
Injuries, attrition, and tiredness being factors that each team that makes the Final just has to deal with.
Really good point. Seen that in successful business teams where planning got screwed and they had to just stay focussed on the basics. Imagine the military do this every day.
i'll always look back on the 2015 highlanders
more or less the same 23 played the final 5 games
Wellington > Auckland > Dunedin > Sydney > Wellington....they run out onto the caketin looking like mummies covered that that much strapping tape after bounding around ANZ...amazing what blind passion can get done
Always appreciate a good Highlanders reference.

He did a good job. I will say that the difference between Nuggy and almost any other scrumhalf is noticeable in terms of speed of pass, but holy shit even Richie's passing from the base looked disabled senior citizen in comparison.
How about when Will Jordan stepped in to scrumhalf at one of the rucks? Quite soon after the sending-off, I think it was.
Much laughter from the table I was sitting at... it was the fucking perfect riposte to anybody doubting what a scrumhalf does. -
apologies if its already been said ,
Brodie allegedly sledged O'mahony,
allegedly said, hey Peter , 4 more years fuckwit .

BTW Big Sam, that unnecessary shove on Faz in Japan RWC semi is officially forgiven.
Don't let him off too easy. Two more wins and he's definitely forgiven!!!
Three RWC medals is enough to redeem anyone.

Looks like Sexton kicked it off:

@Tim lots to look at there. But fuck you for subjecting me to that soundtrack.
Very notable is Aki refusing to shake hands with or even acknowledge any All Blacks. Classy team all around.
Looked like Aki was so gutted, the ABs boys took the time to console him. As for Sexton, looks like he mouthed off after seeing Rieko either giving thumbs up to the crowd before he shook hands, or for some other imagined offence. What a fluffybunny

Look at my profile pic, he has plenty of money in the bank for that lineout steal vs the Boks in 2015…
