Seeing us in the semi-final again is a blast, but it's almost as good seeing Ireland with all these Kiwis and an English coach, miss out on the win record, hahaha.
What a great night, first Wales, then Ireland knocked off by teams that love to play rugby.Open your other eye
The only team looking to play rugby in Marseilles was Wales

Argies resorted to some of their negative tactics. There were certainly moments when their speed and width was on display too.

Been a great 24hrs. Labour smashed in the election, ABs win a knockout game in legendary fashion, and I’m sitting here waiting for Kylie Minogue to call because I’m clearly getting everything I want.
If you are getting everything you want you might aim a bit higher than Kylie, but I guess we all have our weak spots.
Perhaps Kylie’s calling to say Danni is available too…
5-6 hours after the victory, I have to admit that if feels a little different because whilst I believed/wanted the ABs to win, we were the underdog and winning a massive RWC match in that situation is something very new.

At least it means I'm in the conversation

Commiserations to the supporters of Ireland and Wales, it's tough, lose and go home from the quarters. As good as we feel, they must feel just as bad. Ireland have had a fantastic run to get to this point, and it took a super effort from the ABs to just be holding on for the last few minutes.
I was reading a review of world media reactions (NZ Herald) and saw this one by Rúaidhrí O’Connor of the Irish Independent
*“The All Blacks needed a 37-phase defensive set in injury time to finally squeeze past them, Ireland going the length of the field into the end where Johnny Sexton had dropped his goal in 2018 but there was to be no fairytale end to the great out-half’s career as Sam Whitelock got over the ball to win it.
“So, the winning run ends at the worst possible moment and, in truth, they were beaten by the better team on the night."*
Yet, that is exactly what our 2013 team did to win. Ireland could have won, if they were good and fit enough. I wonder if BB and SW had a flashback.

Interestingly, Ireland stood at 17 wins for the Raeburn shield, one behind the 1987 AB team, who got to 18. So, that's a record we kept, thanks Foster and this current team.
Also, the 1987 team took 1155 days for those 18 wins, whereas Ireland took only 462 for 17-almost 2 years less (and had a possible 20 during RWC 2023 then 6 Nations coming up).

If you mean by playing rugby an unlimited number of up n unders. Pity he was injured because anscombe is better than the current version of biggar. Game was pretty poor from both sides.

England have the same 18 wins, so not really just our record

Man our scrum and line out will monster Argentina
Argentina will be tough. They are a proud, fierce Rugby nation. Don’t forget they’ve rolled us twice in this World Cup cycle. I thought they played some great stuff against Wales. They’ll be even hungrier against us.

They certainly did, although still had a shit exit or two from beaudy. But same as foster, even if we win the RWC it is not every thing and previous 4 years of mostly shit still exists. I hope they can answer the critics two more times!
This was an effort that almost equalls the 15 semi final imo. SA then were better than Ireland here, but so were the abs. I'm amazed that they managed to keep blue heads as much as they did, even with two yellows. One of the very few times under foster we have away less than ten penalties versus a tier 1 side
