Hurricanes vs Crusaders

Jordie has been a bit poor this year, but when you look at the Canes scoring plays, he's heavily involved. He brought some heavy carries, nice touches, and a sweet offload in at least three of those tries.
His kicking is a problem, but depending on who is at 10, that shouldn't be an issue.

Just watched. Thought Jordie and Roigard were great for Canes. Moorby Iose Blackwell all good too. Crusaders were a bit ragged with some AB's maybe not as commited on defence in a game that doesn't count for placings. Lio Willie and LF added some good go forward.

Ah, we know who is at 10, it's an issue

Ha ha, that’s a very fair point.

Why is his kicking a problem< he kicks out of hand at least as good (I believe better) than any other contenders for the 12 jersey, and for that matter even at goal, who is better? I thought he was bloody good last night, and hasn't been that bad this year, watch how much defence he has attracted most games.

I watched the first half then went out for dinner, just finished watching the second half - was an unexpected turn around.
I went for a beer run when the Canes scored late in the first half and the potential future Mrs MN5 went on a toilet run when they scored in the second half. As long as one of us wasn’t there watching they played really well. Probably a good thing I’m not going to the next home game ( if there is one )
Fun atmosphere though, the Coles/Taylor ding dong niggle was outstanding entertainment. Great stuff from both of them.
Blackwell looks tall in the flesh when he’s standing next to the shorter members of the backline

Crusaders have been very much like the Blues last night.
With nothing on the line, perhaps minds are already thinking about next week…
Like the Chiefs then? But they won big.
It used to be common wisdom that the Crusaders were just ruthless. Not today.

That Coles clash with Taylor was the turning point IMO.
I thought us not getting out of our half is what cost us. That was an issue when we had 15 on the field. Just continued when we had 14

They played with the ball a lot deep in their own half, I don't think that worked out well
