DMac ran the show really well I thought, probably the biggest difference, with Morgan still finding his mojo.
Vaai (or Vyee if you're Nisbo) is busy, but just ineffective for me. Ok hands, but just zero impact on either side of the ball. I don't see what the selectors see there.
Weber's quick distribution was a big tell too I thought, him and Roigard should be the AB backups, with Ratima covering injury. I'm 99% sure it will be Christie and maybe Fakatava though.
Retallick is finally back and apart from a couple of shaky lineouts, the hookers out there looked like a lovely one-two punch for the ABs, unless Taylor gets back to form from three years ago.
Rona looks like one to keep an eye on for the future too eh. Agree on Narawa also, really good options, just doesn't put a foot wrong.
Rayasi continues to disappoint with his lackadaisical approach - only interested if there's a glory play on. He's old enough to have gotten past that (and I guess there's still time for him to have a Stevenson style turnaround in that regard).

Holland & Gibbes don't learn, can't keep playing unbalanced forward packs and expect to beat the top teams.
This would never happen, but why not go for size across the pack and maximum impact off the bench?
Numia, Aumua, Lomax, Bird, Walker-Leawere, C.Delany, Savea, Flanders.
Coles, Mafileo, Tosi, Sangster, Lakai, Kirifi.

@kiwi_expat IWL is injured as is delany. But 1.90 and 1.94 locks will never work. Esp with a short backrow. Bird should have stayed on. Or been replaced with another tall lock

PUJ looked a bit ponderous
Mrs Boo reckoned he'd overdone the off season ...
There was a shot of him a week or two ago I think and he doesn't look like a professional athlete...

This is the Hurricanes player ratings.
These are retarded
We lost and were completely outplayed in the 2ndBut yet everyone gets a 6,7,8
Since we lost by so much shouldn't ratings be averaging below 5? Or would that not be PC enough?

DMAC is the best 10 in NZ right now.
Whether thats a good or bad thing is the question.
I would never have expected to agree with that ,
But I’ve got no argument to counter it

Geez I enjoying this game!
You must be listening to it on the radio as I thought you said you were going to be watching club rugby!
Went down to club, watched women's and colts. then ended up this game got better of me, so whipped home to watch it, mainly becuase I saw one joker getting game on hos phone at club and didn't want to hear score updates!! Prems won club game 69-7 , so was relieved I did in end. Whoops that was div 1 prems were 34-21
I miss next week as family shit to do too!! -

Also have to say I think we missed Proctor big time yesterday, I know PUJ has his fans that see what I don't, but I din't think he looked quite up to it again yesterday
PUJ definitely looked like a player that’s been out for 8 months. Needs a few more games to get into it.

He certainly the only one who seems to be controlling games isn't he?
100%.
Beaudy and Richie are playing touch footie.

How did that crowd compare to the other Canes home games? It seemed exceptional on TV.
I think about 7k more than the usual. I think the crowd was about 17-20k, I think night games usually get 10-12k
