If Tima is still touring with Tonga the reason must be more personal.

Whitelock en route to join All Blacks in Japan

Whitelock en route to join All Blacks in Japan

All Blacks lock Sam Whitelock flew out of Christchurch on Wednesday morning to join the side in Japan, but it is a fair guess he will avoid trampolines during the All Blacks' northern hemisphere tour.

Anyone know if the Japan match is being shown outside of NZ ie in UK?

Everything I’ve seen indicates it’s not being shown.

@MajorRage Flo Rugby is USA only, I think. Not sure it's tv; maybe streaming only.

It is on Stan here in OZ which is good. Is there a match thread yet? If not is this the closest to a game ever without one, shows the interest in this one.

Okay after this morning I reeeaaallly want to know what out defensive pattern out wide is

On those early exchanges when Wales tried to play wide their first attack RI took one guy, used his pace to get another, and that STILL left Clarke defending 2

I would write it off as a bad read saved except the exact same thing happened to ALB later in the game.

There's a risk/reward thing there and I would love to know the thinking.

@Stargazer I tuned out as soon as Jones spouted a negative of ST is that he's greedy with the ball.

What's the bet that Foster picks Moody next year, and he hits about one ruck per game?

@KiwiMurph Not happy about that. I didn't want TJP anywhere near the ABs anymore. LF should have been given a chance against Scotland.

(aside: the deepest World Cup squad ever assembled also got bundled out in the quarters in that country's worst ever result. depth is overrated)

TJP brings something different. He is like a fourth loose forward. His passing is not top notch (you will say "poor"), but his physicality and experience could be effective under peculiar circomstances (heavy rain, for instance). However, I would have kept Weber and send Christie to the AB XV.
