Foster, Robertson etc

I have read comments in this thread along the lines of it is a tough job, I would not want the job, we shouldn't expect to win all the time. What a bunch of softcocks!!! This is the All Blacks, we have the best winning percentage of any team in the history of professional sports. I have given up on bagging the moron, because the NZR continue to select him. But these bullshit posts are fucken cringeworthy.
And this other shit about affording $$$$ Coaches. If the NZR had given the best coach in the world the job we wouldn't be having this issue. I am hoping we beat all international teams but I don't have the confidence in the ABs I once had.
We got out.of jail last week not because of AB brilliance but Foley is a fuckwit and the right call was made. -

Who might that be?
Do you people not read my rugby insights?

@DaGrubster just to challenge one point, how many coaches have we lost offshore and wanted back but not been able to afford them?
Rennie
Joseph
Brown
Cotter
SchmidtI'd take any of them, but they wouldn't take a pay cut to come back. Folk aren't coming back to coach in NZ for money.
Huh? I think all of them would take a pay cut to coach the ABs without a second thought (aside from Brown who doesn't appear to want a head coach role and Schmidt who is already back and doesn't want the role for family reasons, apparently).
why the fuck would anyone want the job for any money? Being the AB coach is the shittest coaching gig on the planet
You are expected to win every game. You are expected to win every game by a decent margin. You are expected to win every game by a decent margin while playing free flowing football, while at the same time nailing the basics and being pragmatic.
There are never more than a couple of teams you are allowed to lose to without vociferous calls for your head. None of those losses are ever allowed in NZ
And if you win? everyone shrugs and says "of course you did, you are the ABs"
Fuck that
Because some people have drive, ambition, desire to be the best to prove to the world they are the best and take on the biggest challenge they can?
Weirdos.

@Victor-Meldrew Razor, obviously. His record speaks for itself.

Way to make it serious

@Victor-Meldrew Razor, obviously. His record speaks for itself.
Absolutely. So good he doesn't need to actually coach a Test team to be the world's best.
The Chuck Norris of Rugby coaches, I tell you.
-
The Crusaders would get torn a new one by Ireland, South Africa and Argentina.
I am not so sure on that.
I am. They don't even have a forwards coach.
They do Dave Perrin, Jason Ryan’s apprentice he will do just fine.
And they don’t have Foster or McLeod. -
@Victor-Meldrew thought he was going on about someone with success at international level

What like Foster creating all sorts of records to be proud of, and he has had 11 years of International experience.
Overated international experience.
Galthie had no International coaching experience until he coached France. He came straight out of Top14. -

Then again, Guy Novès won multiple titles with Toulouse but was a failure with France. You just never know either way...
I agree but to keep banging on International experience as a must is short sighted in my opinion.
Certainly limits your selection process, as there is a lot of inadequate International coaches out there. -
The Crusaders would get torn a new one by Ireland, South Africa and Argentina.
But the Jaguares in 2019/18 were the entire Argentina squad (all of them) and Crusaders dominated 19-3 in the final..
The only other Crusader's encounter (2018 season) they got destroyed 48-17 in Buenos Aires.
All current evidence hints that Razor is a phenomenonal coach.

Further to that 15 Springboks were in the 2017 Lions 23 that lost in the Final to the Crusaders at Ellis Park.
