Stand by for pathetic Ozzie niggle, as long as we ignore it, they'll get smashed
What are the odds on Swinton getting red?
Very very high

@crazy-horse Stan has no pub/club deal available yet AFAIK. So yeah, technically a pub streaming it is breaching the user agreement.
So pubs can't play free to air TV channels?
I forgot about free to air! I really ought to reacquaint myself with the people in the cheap seats.
But, I haven't seen rugby on at a pub since it went to Stan, free to air or not.
Pubs show free to air but tend to only do it on request and generally not on the big main screen if there is other sport on.

@act-crusader love it how the teetotaller is the only one who can remember what goes on at a pub

Righto. Game Day. We're about 8 hours from a shellacking.
What's the weather doing in Auckland?
Cool, slightly damp the odd shower. Turf should be fine, and you rate us more than we rate ourselves

I'm a dutiful observer of New Zealand fans

@nta not sure if that will be the case. We have been ordinary for the last year and a half, and the Wallabies found a pretty handy blueprint in the last twenty minutes of where to attack us.
NZ fans and media will expect the All Blacks to bounce back from a lacklustre performance, and rightfully so, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the Wallabies pushed us close this weekend.
One thing Aus will need to sort out is their kicks at goal.

Yes, yes. Awesome how we found the blueprint once it was a 25-point margin and Foster emptied his bench.
I'm not saying we are utterly shit, but I look at the selections - particularly midfield where we had a chance to take a good combination into a second test against some disrupted personnel - and think we've missed a trick.

Tell you what, Oz 1-12 @ $10 is value
Throwing your money away given it'll be a 13+ to ABs.

Geez - do posters realise it is a 23 player game these days and the All Blacks learned over a decade ago that a lack of a plan B at RWC could have them out. Fern posters have gone on and on about not having plan B's too,
So, the current coaches are addressing this by training for scenarios where they lose a key player through injury or a card early, and making sure that the players slotting into another position can do so relatively seamlessly. Seems intelligent to me and a big tick for this regime. You can only have 8 on the bench. I have assumed that Jordie is seen as potential cover at 12 this week, else they would have most likely promoted Quinn Tupaea. There will be a planned scenario for the loss of any player.
The AB's will likely have a pecking order of 4 players minimum for any jersey number, and will do their best to build experience of each of those candidates in that jersey within the RWC leadup campaign. I see nothing wrong with that, and am happy for us not to be winning by 50 points with out best 15 playing 80 minutes every week, if we are progressing forward our troops for the RWC battle. Then, they will pick the best 23 players to deal with whatever the opposition are expected to throw at them that week, and will continue their admirable philosophy (big tick for current regime) of not picking players who are injured, but seeing it as an opportunity to further develop an understudy in preparation for what may come.
All these posts wanting Foster to be dumped for not keeping players in their preferred jersey number at all times would seem to based on nasty agendas and not on reason....
Except they're not doing this. They're picking Jordie Barrett because he deserves to be picked as a fullback on form, but then they also have to pick Beauden, McKenzie and Mo'unga, and Jordan. So then they're playing him on the wing because he 'deserves' a spot. The bench balance is fucked with 2 Barretts there.
The boks with 6 forwards on the bench in the WC were seeing it as a 23 man game, our dullards are not. With rm, dmac , bb and jb all in the 23 it feels like we have too much of the same ,
Maybe it’s been dictated by injury a bit , no Jordan last week , no alb this week, and no Clarke ,
But I would’ve thought you could leave one out and include a more explosive ball carrying type on the bench for balance
