Riding our luck massively
I've always believed a good team makes it's own luck, Mike.
Or have cloaks of invisibility...

we’ve scraped home twice in two weeks against 14 men when the opposition failed to convert match winning opportunities at the death is luck beyond our making.
I'd still argue that's also down to leadership, cool heads, defence and effective substitutions.
Or poaching Pacific Islanders....

England's performance was poor, again. If three of their tries had been disallowed (one blatant knock-on, one forward pass, one late tackle before Watson's intercept), the score would have bee much tighter and more in line with the game's physiognomy.
how's that new thesauras?

We had all of those as mentioned, but still both Ireland and Scotland shit the bed when it mattered and let us off the hook.

Press not impressed
Farrell doing the Wilkinson pose for kick, maybe?
Not a lot to be impressed about. Still waiting for some of the senior team members to show up. Still scratching my head about Daly at full back and continuing with Billy V in his fat and disinterested state.
On the plus side we showed more ambition, a couple of the more junior members stepped up a bit and we didn’t kick so much and so poorly. An improvement on last week but we’re not looking great.

You’ll stuff us
But it would be hilarious if we went down to 14 men and won

@MiketheSnow No.

Some key England players (Sinkler, Lawes, Itoje, Curry May, Watson and Daly) are showing form again.
But Youngs' service was slow yesterday and both Farrell and Slade look out of sorts.
I thought Fat Billy was dreadful. Didn't ball carry effectively (made 1m from 7 carries), didn't contribute much in defence (only 5 tackles), was huffing and puffing after five minutes. Better sides than Italy will target him ruthlessly. I know Fat Billy is a bit of a favourite of England's Aussie coach, but I wonder how long Eddie Jones can persist with a player so obviously not in appropriate physical conditioning for international Rugby?

England Vs Italy highlights:
There were ‘highlights’?....
For the me the play of the game was the Italian try at around the 60th minute mark. Great to see an attacking midfielder run from deep, receive the ball at pace and then go into contact with momentum and offload.

Wales nearly bottled it. Could have been a bigger win if they actually landed kicks. Wales for the grand slam.
😂
We won’t beat England with Biggar
But you might if Farrell gets red carded for a shoulder charge. Here’s hoping your luck continues
Second person today float that lovely idea to me!

That last Scottish try was really impressive with 14 men.
As was scrum penalty packing seven against eight.
It was eight against eight in the scrum by that stage. They took off a Wing and put on the Reserve Prop.

Their first try was a cracker too

Actually, I think you’re right. Nel seem to give Welsh LH quite a few problems, but maybe not all of the legal variety!
