Absolutely cracking match. Totally let down by the result ....
As possibly the only welsh rugby fan I’ve ‘met’ who I suspect I may like @MiketheSnow enjoy it mate. 2 from 2.

Congrats Mike. As BBC say, you're top of the "group" 😁
Riding our luck massively but in fairness we’re not giving up or buckling when we’re under the cosh.
There’s some real backbone developing throughout the squad.

I've always believed a good team makes it's own luck, Mike.

There’s luck and there’s luck.
The tries we scored had nothing to do with luck for example, but the fact that we’ve scraped home twice in two weeks against 14 men when the opposition failed to convert match winning opportunities at the death is luck beyond our making.

Press not impressed
Farrell doing the Wilkinson pose for kick, maybe?

That last try, while brilliantly executed was a opportunity there from playing 14. First because stretching the defence to one side and back created a little bit of time. Second because there was no sweeper

Scotland made 339 metres running, Wales 179 but Scotland lost.
That’s a fantastic stat for Scotland.

I'd still argue that's also down to leadership, cool heads, defence and effective substitutions.
Or poaching Pacific Islanders....

England's performance was poor, again. If three of their tries had been disallowed (one blatant knock-on, one forward pass, one late tackle before Watson's intercept), the score would have bee much tighter and more in line with the game's physiognomy.
how's that new thesauras?

We had all of those as mentioned, but still both Ireland and Scotland shit the bed when it mattered and let us off the hook.

Not a lot to be impressed about. Still waiting for some of the senior team members to show up. Still scratching my head about Daly at full back and continuing with Billy V in his fat and disinterested state.
On the plus side we showed more ambition, a couple of the more junior members stepped up a bit and we didn’t kick so much and so poorly. An improvement on last week but we’re not looking great.

You’ll stuff us
But it would be hilarious if we went down to 14 men and won

@MiketheSnow No.

Some key England players (Sinkler, Lawes, Itoje, Curry May, Watson and Daly) are showing form again.
But Youngs' service was slow yesterday and both Farrell and Slade look out of sorts.
I thought Fat Billy was dreadful. Didn't ball carry effectively (made 1m from 7 carries), didn't contribute much in defence (only 5 tackles), was huffing and puffing after five minutes. Better sides than Italy will target him ruthlessly. I know Fat Billy is a bit of a favourite of England's Aussie coach, but I wonder how long Eddie Jones can persist with a player so obviously not in appropriate physical conditioning for international Rugby?
