I still find it weird, I live in Australia, I'm just a NZer not a NZ born insert job here.
It is interesting, isn't it? I wonder if it was his PR team trying to make him look available to the US big bosses (don't worry we won't do a FoTC on you) or the Americans not thinking someone could be successful if not based in America..

Yeah, I would assume that using NZ-born indicates that someone isn't actually an NZ citizen, or has both but identifies as a citizen of another country. Strange.

I thought they changed the rules in Oz in 2001 so you have to have Oz citizenship to vote, (but in NZ, Aussie-borns can still vote?) If so Kwozzies (Kiwis in Oz) have taxation but no representation!
EDIT it just occurred to me a Kiwi living in Oz (or vice versa) is a (Tr)anzac!

Instead, he's clogging up a wing, not going to be a first choice fullback until his brother loses his pace, and the Canes are not going to play him at 2nd five while he's their best fullback and they have Laumape.
