Pricing for Sydney is outrageous!!!
I don’t know the actual prices (we’re paying $200ish) as my mate just organised it all.
I can suck it up this year as I’ve had multiple trips cancelled so haven’t been spending a lot.
$150, for right on the halfway line, very top of the bottom tier... right next to the entrance(and bar).
Pretty happy with that, considering it's a tenth of the price of the last rugby ticket I bought, off some dodgy scalper on the internet (cheers, @canefan ) , for a shit game.

Is that pre-release? Because they're not on public sale according to Ticketek
Looking at the double-headers for Bankwest - $300 for 2 games of Test Rugby in the best stadium in Sydney sounds alright. They'll sell pending COVID.

Sorry about that mate, lucky I didn't guarantee a win or your money back.... if I had my time again I should have sold it for double to some pommie guy instead of inflicting that on you

Just reading the caketin isn't sold out, 5000 seats available, first time since 2012 (in wellington )
apparently, people still a bit cautious -

get fucked
our 3rd best 8. picking two 7s.
the best fullback shunted to the wing in order to select the 2nd best fullback
neither of the two wingers are really the best in the countryand it's one of the last physically imposing back 3s i have ever seen
this is a shit team selected by fuckheads.
I was initially really concerned until I read this. Now I think we'll win by 20+.

hahaha get the fuck out. 178 for a no booze seat 100m from the end of the ground? go fuck your own face.
300 for behind the goals? 400 for diagonally up from the corner post?
Are the ARU trying to recoup all their losses in one game?
This is the view $398 buys you in aisle 411

@antipodean Probably a good place for an Wallaby supporter, carnage further away...
-
I’m going to give Fozzie a bit of slack on his selections for this game, and maybe the next one.
First game in charge, and he’s definitely playing it safe by going with what/who he knows.
If after a settling in for a couple of weeks, and he continues to go the conservative route and pick players out of position while leaving absolute guns like Clarke, Sotutu & Jordan warming the bench I’ll be pretty annoyed.
Imagine if he loses a with this ‘safe’ team... this place will implode.
-
Yeah shit team, but let's face it, he's not deliberately selecting to lose. Playing these guys 4 times too so got to be able to hold some things back and shake it up - the new Aussie coach will actually study the opposition rather than being an arrogant fucktard.
I'm picking we'll win quite comfortably (although not necessarily by a lot) - looks like there'll be a real push for territory and tiring them out before bringing on an explosive bench to take advantage.
Dick move saying one thing and doing another though. Is Foster going to be even more about manipulation via media?

@Crucial I know. I know!
The answer is George.
He's the only one who has scored at least as many tries as tests he's played in!
After an amazing career of seven tests too!
Although I’m fairly sure that both Rok and Jules were at over 100% at the same stage.

Cullen: 7 tries in his first two test matches. Dead set legend.

A couple of things have crossed my mind as possible selection explanations.
Goodhue has possibly become Mounga's tackling proxy and Foster has followed Razor's lead.
BB is at 15 to move up to 10 in defensive sequences. Expect to see RM dropping to 15 a lot instead of shuffling out.
It was that shuffling out that Eddie Jones identified and targeted to great effect.
That explains Goodhue at 12, BB at 15 and JB being too good to leave out. Bridge is still a mystery.
Bridge is less of a mystery if we are going to kick a bit. Also he is good running off the shoulder of Mo’unga who is attacking the line from 1st 5 far more than Beaudie is these days.
I’m hopeful that a fired up Cane and Tuipoluto and a better outing from our front collectively will have us in better shape than the RWC semi.
He runs off RMs shoulder but makes as much ground as Owen Franks.
Those little half gaps don't appear as much in test footy for him to exploit. He’s scored tries at test level in the middle of the park and through traffic.
Plus the cross field kick combo with Richie is good also.
But....but...he's just so 'Ralph'
I’m sensing a new adjective.
Ie ‘the wallabies will look to exploit Bridges sheer Ralphishness’
Or ‘his Ralphishness in contact meant the try scoring opportunity was lost’
I just can't grasp the idea of a modern AB team without a big strong brown boy on one of the wings.
I was going to say that this reminds me too much of Guildford and Jane together, but then they helped slaughter the Bokke at the Caketin once.Sound like one of the many tests Guildford stole from Hosea Gear.

The only position I can't fathom is Jack at 12, but then again ALB was hardly inspiring during SRA. The rest make sense given the new coaching staff, debutants in the squad and odd build-up. I think they want to ease the squad into Tests and new structures.
A good win and they can start to look at moving further down the path. Had Fozzie & Co. selected a raft of debutants and lost, you'd all be screaming anyway.
The last time we all unanimously agreed that they picked the right players we got belted in Perth.
i didn't agree with that team! Hated Barrett starting and Savea at 6
Well unanimous by Fern standards. There's always one or two contrarians.

I’m going to hold judgement until after the game. Even though it’s less fun.
Get the fuck out of here with that shit. Put your balls on the block like the rest of us, makes for far more entertaining post match analysis.

fixed.
Many a next great thing has come and gone and not beaten Howlett's record. I don't think Bridge will be the one.
I guess it did help having Henry as AB coach to ensure he got all those tests aye 😎
By the way I was a massive Howlett fan because of his kick chase game. Still the best of seen in that regard. He’s always in my all-time AB XV team thingys. I see many similarities.
Bridge has 9 tries after 9 tests. Douggie had 8 tries after 9 tests.
Bridge has scored against Japan, OZ, Tonga, Boks, Ireland
Howlett had scored against Tonga, France, Italy, Samoa, Argentina -

I'm assuming this is the game that was rescheduled, so it might be a premium for the late notice.
I honestly have no idea what the schedule was to begin with.
