@Marty yeah when you look at his runs/metres, tackles, off loads, he got through some work, more than I thought he had done on first viewing.
Will be interesting to see where the coaches go with the mid-field, as you get the feeling they have been wanting the SBW-Goodhue one, but the Crotty-ALB one put out the best performance of the year so far, while the ALB-Goodhue one is the one they would dearly love to work as this will be our combo next year...and then the SBW-Crotty one has numbers on the board.
On that analysis I reckon they will go for SBW/ALB

haha
After this TV1 news went to another clip with Reece saying that he expects when they get to the Hotel TJ will be telling the wingers thats how they need to do it.

To be fair, after looking like he had concrete boots early on, I thought Goodhue was pretty decent in the second half. High work rate, involved in a lot of linking plays. He's on the right trajectory.
He wasn't spectacular, but looked confident and more comfortable than in his previous outing, so yeah, moving in the right direction after a long lay-off.
Thought Reiko improved as well. Not there yet by some way, but some nice touches.

I'd think that's dead cert if we end up playing England

Saw that. Sumo is rather woke unfortinately as I quite enjoy his commentary. Don't get him over this side of the deetch of course. Being woke he's looking for the controversy.
On Quinnie. I am inclined to agree with him. I didn't hear their comments but from what he implies if the broadcasters in question suggested that was a "rugby league" try they should be admonished by their employers for:
- Showing an ignorance of the sport they are commenting on
- Promoting a sport they are not being paid to comment on
I suggest they are guilty of being sucked into Australian media hype about "the greatest gaaame of awl". I have heard plenty of comment about how Rugby copied loigue in removing the corner flag. People in that position need to know their history.
It seems to me they were unprofessional. His comment about sacking is obviously a joke ... comedy ... and I assume he didn't assume gender ... so may have been stating a fact when he said they were women ...
Probably one for the Politics thread.

It's an emoji that indicates 100%, 100 marks out of a 100 etc.

@jegga ...his commentary style had started to wear a bit thin I find. If he can't tell this is a joke and he thinks 'wokeness' is something the average sports fan is looking for in a commentator then I don't see his popularity lasting.
Standard these days. People being put above criticism as they aren't straight white males.
I blame Anika Moa(n).

Crotty has 6 more tests than ALB. Sonny-Bill has 16. Crotty and SBW have started together a mere twelve times. It's not a lot more "numbers on the board" to be honest.
They won't care about next year, so Goodhue won't be picked on that basis.
