So the strategy is fall over into a tackle and earn a yellow card.

This fucking ref. Such a shithead. Useless frog is treating Namibia like a thalidomide child trying to play softball.

NObody, really NObody, can say that ABs get favourable treatment from refs. What a bs.

I'm uncomfortable with YC'ing players that make contact with the head on attackers that are falling to the ground head first into the tackle.

Contact from Ofa T on the players' neck, but he was on his knees. Yellow card. Tough call.

but when the player is falling and ends up leading with the arm, how the fuck are you supposed to not hit him in the head...

honestly what do you do when an opposition is at knee level? Do you just stand down?

So, do these cards really keep players safe and stop high tackles? Almost seems the players are resigned to the fact they are likely to get carded. Maybe a tactic is to dive into the tackler.

They'll say not being reds is the favourable treatment.

You got to wonder if players will deliberately dive in low the way this is going

The tournament is now a farce.

Sending from the field for a vertical arm at knee height makes an impossible option for a defender.

What other "technique" can he do?

Massive can of worms opened today

Analysis from ITV (Bloody good, BTW ) saying it was for a swinging arm.

And questioned what a player is supposed to do with his limbs when falling down

players were dropping their knees in the AFL, or shrugging the arms so tackles would end up high. And then the Umpires started cracking down on that and not penalising players who did end up tackling someone doing those things.
