given Cane has had alsmot as many head knocks as Crotty, maybe we need to look at leaving him out for a period took?
So that slots Savea firmly in the drivers seat (looked a bit more physical than normal last night too, although against a beaten Wallaby pack) but who is the next 7 off the ranks?
Thereโs some young tyro from the Crusaders. Todd or something. He might be worth a look.

You reckon Carter was tearing up defences in the first 30?He had usually plotted three penalties, two of which were pretty tough.
How is that tearing up defences?
If you can't tear up the defence in the first 30 minutes at least be putting points on the board in other ways.
Dude, I was responding to a post of how BB can't breach defences in the early stages of a game.
I will fully agree about the goal kicking but that wasn't being discussed.
Actually, BB's kicking in general play was mostly pants for the Canes this year but was outstanding yesterday. Was great to see.

I mistook you point, apologies. While both Carter and Barrett hardly lit up a defence in first half, Carter was far more effective in the grand scheme of things in the first 40 minutes - that was my point. Much of the frustration with Barrett at test level is while waiting for the defence to break down in the second half - he isn't terribly constructive or authoritative in the first.
That said Beauden was effective off the bench in the second half through 2014/5 that I'd probably refuse to name an all time AB XV on principle that Beaudy should be 16 (and SBW 17).

@stargazer Yeah I get that but between Harris, Coltman, Dixon, Parsons, Funnell etc there isn't a hell of a lot of difference so it doesn't really matter who they pick tbh.

Krustys furious apparently . I reckon what he needs to kickstart the wallabies is a catchy slogan for the boys , something like "Make Australia Great Again" or abbreviate it to " MAGA" when they put it on hats for supporters. That should help their profile over there.
They need a packed. Its a bit like aura, she's very strong and wins games.

@booboo spellings/grammar has never been my strong point. That said neither was my rugby in my playing days

"He's there (over the ball) nearly all the time, so he becomes a target and they do whatever they can to get rid of him."
He's sore because he bends over the ball and gets cleaned out. Didn't see neck rolls, but yeah the impacts from the clean outs were around his neck and shoulders. Maybe that's on the edge but they're not "targeting" Bono specifically.
Sooking and excuses. Par for the course from Krusty.

Poor Aussies. It must suck when you've had 6 more Prime Ministers than Bledisloe Cups in the past 15 years.
Meme please

@taniwharugby Tui bumped off quite a few, not just Ardie and I am not a Savea apologist.

@booboo in one ruck Owen got away with holding him around the neck as Squire was providing the grunt to shift Pocock. Barnes was right there and I was sure he was going to blow it up. But then he obviously saw it was Pocock and let it go
